Reviews of Starbucks
D.
It’s right between Lorne and Victoria on Queen Street so it’s actually not a bad location. The buses are plentiful.
Starbucks Queen Street looks like every other generic Starbucks coffee shop, however, to add character they’d decided not to clean it. Take a look at the mould on the window sill and you’ll see what I mean. This is a corner stone of any cafe and should never, ever be neglected.
Apart from their questionable milk skills, the staff were poor. Not especially chatty or helpful, but at least they didn’t manage to set themselves on fire whilst making my frappe, which is a plus. For the second half of my 20ish minutes in there they were no where to be seen. One can only assume they had locked themselves in the bathroom and had accepted their fate, rather than realise it was a push door rather than a pull door…
In keeping with the rest of the venue, the toilets were dirty and lacking in any form of comfort. Unless of course you count the rotting empty shelving unit as comfort. In which case, you’re likely a homeless person and have bigger problems to deal with.
M.
Best coffee in town. They make the yummiest coffee, frappuccino, Teas, cold beverages. I have tried their many flavours like (Triple mocha, strawberry cream, cookies & cream, mocha java chip, white chocolate mocha ). All of them where so tasty, delicious & amazing.Bit expensive but quality and taste is really good. The staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you.
A.
This Starbucks is located right on Queens street and has great service. Lot of places to seat and plenty of options for tea and coffee. The seating area on top is specially more relaxing. You can wear alone or with a group and it is just wonderful. Totally love the friendly service. In my opinion it is a good spot for a group date too.
L.
Pretty nice environment after re-renovate. Customer Service is friendly and drink always keep average standard of Starbucks.
G.
The most of the times Starbucks outside of US are terrible but here in NZ and especially this place they have good quality of coffees and drinks... plus the have pretty big variety of snacks and sweets... nice place always crowded and it has at the second story floor couches and comfy chairs to enjoy your drink and work on your laptop... I like to go there and spend some time...
M.
Updating my review for this Starbucks and giving them 5 stars now.
They renovated this branch, added more seating, and cleaned up the place.
The staff are more attentive and accommodating. The coffee improved a lot and their nitro cold brew is really good.
Kudos to Starbucks and their staff!
--
The food and drinks are standard Starbucks but this is probably the worst Starbucks in New Zealand. It's dirty, dated, and the service is really bad. It's always busy so we don't expect too much here but now, some of the baristas/cashier are just rude. :(
E.
Queen Street Starbucks is always busy, but certainly one of the cosiest cafes around the cbd. There is an upstairs mezanine sort of place to sit down and look out across the intersection with Victoria Street. Food, merch, and consistent quality beverages hot or cold, with or without caffeine, are served to you in under 6 minutes. Starbucks has by far the widest variety of drinks to offer, and you can customise any to your liking! The blended ice drink frappuccinos are certainly my favourite, and are especially good with an added espresso shot or chocolate chips if I feel inclined. Not keen on milk? You can ask for your drink to be made with non fat, soy or coconut milk. Take your own cup and get 40c off your order (just make sure you know what size drink your cup can hold). Get a loyalty stamp card, name it, and present it while you order and every 7th drink will be free.
O.
Good coffee, good service
S.
My absolute addiction at the moment.. white chocolate mocha with almond milk with a chocolate brownie... complete perfection. I go here every week and never disappointed. Recommended
S.
2021: If you're a Spark customer, their street side WiFi is faster, but occasionally blocked by tall buses. Log into Starbucks as a backstop, then switch to Spark if your phone can see it.
2020 December: The renovations are complete, and the store looks amazing!
For Christmas 2019 the store has two new espresso machines. Faster, and the baristas can now see their customers. There's a lot more seating on the mezzanine floor than you can see at street level. WiFi best along and above the counter. Peak time waits during school holidays are very pronounced - try the Symonds Street store during these.
The staff are great, by the way - cut them some slack if your order is delayed at peak times!
J.
Ordered my favorite white chocolate mocha here. The place is nice and nice but the place is just a bit crowded and small compared to other starbucks I've been but all in all, still one of the best coffee and frappes around.
D.
Great coffee and snacks! Lovely ambiance for catch ups with friends.
R.
Good Coffee, Just messed up my order but was quickly fixed :)
J.
I've been going to this store pretty much everyday for the last year or so. I've always had a good experience. The girls are always friendly, helpful and happy to see you and greet you with a smile.
If you're a regular and you get the same thing every time, they are amazing at remembering your order and your name! It's not very often I have to tell them my name. The couple of times that there has been a problem I've asked them to fix my drink and they are happy to fix it for me.
The customer service is some of the best I've ever seen and the frappuccinos are always great tasting and taste pretty much the same every time.
It is a very popular Starbucks location so sometimes they are insanely busy and it can take a good 15 minutes or so to wait for your drink. I never mind waiting as you can tell how busy it is when you walk in the door so if you don't have time to wait you know you should go else where.
A.
I really like this Starbucks, and have been coming here for years, so I've given it 4 stars, but really it should be 3 stars, only because the wifi here is now so bad - I don't know what happened? If you come here for a coffee, while you're trying to get some work done, I would absolutely not recommend the wifi here. It's dropped around 5-6 times since I've been using it.
The coffees and food here is always great, but I really hope they sort out their wifi as this is a huge reason why people will stop by for a coffee.
H.
They don’t make the best coffee but other drinks on the menu are great and the cabinet food always looks good. My go-to is the green tea latte with soy milk. Really enjoy studying on the second floor.
B.
Most of us know StarBucks these days and if you are familiar with their range of products then you will know this place. It's best feature is it's very central, right on the main street located in the middle of the CBD. It's often very busy, que's of people waiting is common. Plenty of seating though.
J.
Nice place with an extremely friendly (short) girl as barista. If it only was for her, the visit is worth it.
I could sit down and enjoy my veinte Cappuccino in a tranquil climate, and write my postcards to Sweden. Even if it was a constant flow of new customers, with a pleasant culture mix.
The only complain is that those who clean the tables should use a wet cloth an wipe of the table after taken the dishes...
A.
Absolutely this store! We travel from the north shore just to get our amazing starbucks fix. Love the food and drinks, the staff are awesome, just everything is awesome :)
K.
Could so with some cleaning. Toilet facilities and floor needs a major clean! Good beverage though 😁
B.
Store has been recently renovated. Usual Starbucks menu, there is now a seated bar area where you can to sit and wait while your order is made. This is welcome when the store is busy.
J.
I Love what I always order, whenever I always go there, thee Staff-members are friendly, and, they know my from memory, they all know that I'm a regular customer, that frequently comes too their outlets, Thank You.:)))
H.
A nice joint on Queen st to just relax and people watch. You can sit in the loft upstairs or out in front where you get the best views of people on the street.
J.
A little untidy, tables, floors and chairs, however the coffee ☕ was yummy, so ordered another 😋
w.
it's a nice starbucks, normally satisfied with my purchases from here
K.
Good location, convenient on the corner of a double walk intersection. Not much seating here so be ready to grab and go.
P.
The online app works well apart from telling you when your order is actually ready.
S.
I have visited the Starbucks at Auckland Queen Street for the first time.. I loved it. It's big with 2 floors. Have lots of varities of items to choose with the coffee.. it's fully crowded.
N.
Service could have been better. Waited 10 minutes for food to be heated up. Turns out the staff totally forgot and quickly heated it (half heated it).
V.
Nice drinks but always crowded
M.
Great location on a convenient busy street corner in the city centre. Plenty of seating with a first floor option. The decor and seating is a bit worn and felt untidy, although to be fair it was late Friday evening. I still can't understand why people are prepared to pay good money to stand waiting for a coffee. The drinks are good, but hey you can great coffee at a better price in a cafe with great table service. I only go to SB when it is the only / most convenient option.
A.
Best starbucks... staffs are friendly. Very fast service. Lot of room 😍 loved it
a.
Business is booming, long queues waiting .... but overworked staff in frumpy and fractious ambience. Spruce up decor to become more elegant and sophisticated
r.
Def better after renovation. Doesnt smell like piss anymore and more spacious. Still wish they had a better alternative than the disolve fast paper straw or better lid for drinking without straw
V.
The staff were super lovely and helpful with my decision. They also went out of their way with patience and kindness to help a customer that was actually abusing them, but they handled it extremely well.
G.
This small Starbucks is the only one of three to still be operating in the CBD. It looks like they are refurbishing the upstairs seating area. The staff are always nice and helpful but the store tends to get crowded where you wait for your order. It's too bad they can't find a larger location in the CBD to move into.
s.
I believe I had an awesome experience with queen st Starbucks and I disagree with most reviews rating this place as poor. susy is the best worker and deserves a raise.
H.
Great coffee but can't hair names/order called and I was sitting there.
A.
Nice place for the best cafe experience.
I.
Probably the only place in central Auckland that opens @ 6:00am and stay up late! Friendly staff and plenty of tables / seats upstairs!
J.
Love the cozy vibe, comfy chairs etc. Something that a lot of cafes are missing in Auckland, but only take away cups (what’s up with that!!). 🙄
W.
My favourite thing here is the English breakfast tea. Comes as a really big teabag in a large mug. It is $4 for a single tea bag and the mug is about the size of two cup tea pot. So great value for me. The only issue was that this Starbucks often ran out of tea. I guess since coffee is their specialty, tea comes second but nevertheless great tea offering for me
L.
I am a massive Starbucks fan! All my friends and my family know that the only way to my heart is coffee from Starbucks. I am not an expert on coffee, but for some strange reason no cafe can do the trick like Starbucks does! I've become a regular here that during the semester I used to go in once to twice daily. A regular customer that most of the staff knew me. Majority of the staff here are super friendly, no matter how busy it can really get they always welcome you with a warm welcome and super friendly and helpful. The barristers are always working fast and try to get the orders out quickly. And the cafe is very clean considering how busy it gets. Yes there are times when they are under staffed, but they still manage so well and so respectful towards their customers, I highly would recommend getting your coffee fix from Starbucks cafes 🤤😆
R.
32,660 Starburst shops (2021), World wide. I love this place. Where can you start? Impressed, I was.
T.
Not a bad cafe to relax. Always busy though, but upstairs seatings was quite.
S.
Visited Starbucks for the first time in like 15-20 years to get some breakfast food. There was plenty of options available and they heated the items I requested too which was great. I had a croissant and also bought a coffee. Food and drink was great and not too long for the wait.
C.
Very busy, not enough seating at times (like most) but pretty much your average Starbucks
G.
The coffee is good, but it is always super crowded. A good place to have some coffee or frapuccino to go, but not the best place to sit down and have a chat.
A.
Comfortably warm, not super busy at 5pm. Great place to sit and warm up on these cold winter days. Only downside was we were sitting upstairs for over an hour and no one cleared the rubbish that was already on the table when we got there.
P.
I really want to say how the service is excellent. Today what I really noticed too was that the young lady who served my nephew and me at 11am today knew both our names despite that we hadn't been there for a few months. I found this very touching and an example of great customer service to follow.
B.
Good menu to choose from, covers all types of foods, coffees etc. Bought two iced coffee frappuccino for take away and it was great. Very busy with patrons enjoying something at the tables or waiting for takeout. Service was quick and very efficient and the staff are great.
L.
Main issue is the homeless who walk around upstairs asking for money. You will get approached at least once if not twice. Orders can be really slow. Awesome seating upstairs though so it makes a great spot to meet up with friends or traveller's needing a rest + coffee.
M.
Starbucks Queen St, where i learnt that the chocolate signature drink has dairy in the mix (so if you are dairy intolerant it is best to order a hot chocolate classic as there is no dairy in the choc mix). Thank you to the great staff there that told me when i requested soy milk about the choc mix situation. Always great experiences at this starbucks. Thanks guys!
J.
The best Starbucks in Auckland. The seating is no joke, the decor so relaxed and warm, quick and efficient staff. I've never had a bad iced mocha from this one. WITH whipped cream, that is. My sincerest condolences to y'all who are lactose intolerant.
R.
Good drinks, service way too slow. I don't mind waiting but when you're forced to stand in a small area with many others awaiting drinks/food, that's a sign something needs to be fixed with the system. Have experienced that a few times. But as said earlier, drinks are great!
M.
Comfy & warm atmosphere, nice customer service, great drinks!
T.
WiFi doesn't reach every part of the store and the toilets are locked which is very inconvenient.
A seat is near impossible to get during peak hours.
Other than that, it's a standard Starbucks.
J.
It's Starbucks. Overpriced coffees and an atmosphere filled with millennials.. but still great!
B.
Drinks were good but I have never been charged extra for caramel drizzle in any store I have visited in NZ, how ever I did here, so wasn’t happy about that.
D.
It's a Starbucks, what more can I say.
A.
The food and the drinks itself are fine. However the trouble with most Starbucks branches in Auckland is that they don't do much to keep up the quality of the venue itself. Most of them appear as if they haven't had a renovation since when they opened giving the place a dark, dingy vibe; eg: the shabby chairs with the leather peeling off and the toilets that you would use only if you were desperate. The Queen street shop also needs better wheel chair access.
B.
I dont remember if this is the Starbucks I visited or not but if it has a seating area upstairs then yes it is and its pre nice
P.
Good customer service.. food is hot and fresh. Busy location
T.
Love this place... they know how to make coffee and a great entertainer was outside the place which made it feel like Auckland city. The only let down is it is too narrow and very hard to find a comfortable spot to enjoy your coffee .. otherwise great all round
R.
Coffee and service great but management seriously needs to do something about those kids that just take up seats and dont actually drink anything. Seats should only be for paying customers and even paying costumers that are done should move on and not just sit there to take advantage of the free Wifi. Other would also like to enjoy their coffee sitting down.
C.
Very busy branch, lots of people. Lots of ice in the drinks...
H.
Finally Starbucks app is available in NZ too, convenient and the place got better after renovation recently.
E.
This store provides satisfying service at very affordable prices. The coffee was delicious and the menu was full of variety of other items. I visited this store with my friends and had an excellent experience.
E.
My family stayed for one week recently and stayed at close by hotel. My wife and I enjoy good coffee.
While the coffee wasn't too bad (we've had much better at Starbucks around the world), on all our visits the wasn't much food and definitely not much (if any) vegetarian food.
Table service terrible with cups, plates, paper bags left on table and spilt drinks. It took a long time for staff to clean up.
You would expect an inner city cafe to be staffed correctly.
Visited October 2015.
P.
As Starbucks go, this is one of the better ones. It can get busy as it is very popular, but they are certainly able to cope with that and at busy time had 3 tills open. A well stocked selection of snacks, but I do get a bit bored with starbucks food as it is just about the same everywhere.
R.
Great friendly service. Nice coffee
C.
Delicious coffees ! Shop Assistants are very nice. WC might be slightly better as regards cleaning conditions.
T.
Decent starbux and good service for a busy coffee place. Drinks taste standard starbux, but the 5 star is for consistent service and usually very clean in here.
E.
Susannah was very friendly and helpful with our coffee choices. Best customer service we have ever had at a Starbucks, 10/10 banter. She deserves a raise
B.
Starbuck fanatic here! Global starbucks traveller... coffee is good. Not amazing. Just good. Seating is mostly the hard wooden chairs with a few armchairs. Upstairs requires a sugar serviette spoon service. Otherwise service was great!
Z.
Not an official Starbucks. Menu is different but adequate. The location was great, close to our hotel and the Skytower. It was a nice break in a day of sightseeing. Very popular with locals.
r.
They get your names right. Also super fast service
A.
The location was very busy, but they kept the lines moving quickly. There isn't really adequate seating even though there are some outside, too. We just lucked into a table when the people up and left. There aren't enough baristas to buss the tables. The drinks were made okay. I was disappointed there wasn't a good selection of mugs to buy here, this location didn't even have any Auckland ones. The barista said I could find the mugs on eBay because someone from their home office sells them on there (!!???). I did see that an eBay seller from New Zealand was selling multitudes of New Zealand Starbucks mugs with a seemingly endless supply. Doesn't seem very ethical especially because the prices are 4 to 5 times higher than if bought in the Starbucks stores.
D.
Typical Starbucks.
Located in the heart of the city centre at Auckland.
A great place to stay a while and people watch.
Very busy at times.
Would I come back again 🤔
Yes most definitely 👍
B.
Average customer service. Good drinks but limited menu, limited seating. was very disappointed because we only have a quarter of what the American Starbucks has. Really wish that menu was better. Lazy.
A.
Friendly staff and quick service, as expected of Starbucks :)
S.
Nice and friendly staff
C.
Great friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and decent coffee
J.
Perfect location which is both good & bad. Probably the most popular coffee place in the CBD but can get super busy with long wait times. The other Starbucks is much more chilled ;)
W.
Great coffee ☕ ever had.
A.
Nice place to have a coffee and hang out.
G.
Cozy. Private. Three or four of the seats have power points. Opens until late which is a big plus. On some nights opens until 1am. Would be even better if can open until say 3am. Pretty crowded most of the time. Can be slightly messy but that's acceptable by my pretty low standard of cleanness. Unlimited Wifi would be good. All Starbucks should allow untimed Wifi to all customers.
S.
I generally avoid Starbucks mid-Queen street during peak times such as early morning and lunch. Went mid-afternoon, steady but not busy. Warm and cosy environment and definitely great coffee!
D.
Good atmosphere and ok coffee. Food is standard for Starbucks. Service is usually very good. Sitting upstairs is a good way to have a chill inner city while enjoying a brew.
N.
Nice starbucks, got a smiley face drawn on my cup which was a nice touch :)
a.
Best coffee. Convenient location and great service.
K.
If you're looking for good coffee, you can get far better elsewhere. What this particular Starbucks offers is decent areas to sit for small groups. Usable wifi.
N.
Pretty good for for the most part however during peak times you may have to wait for up to 15+ minutes for your preferred beverage. Overall good if it's not busy but if it's during peak the service is slow
A.
This place is ALWAYS busy. Be sure to get here early / at least expect not to find any space to sit down. I think the layout of the restaurant is a bit silly. While waiting for your order it becomes too crowded. Good quality drinks. But very impersonal experience.
A.
Friendly and accommodating staffs - THANK YOU always for keeping up with my whims - signature hazelnut hot coco and 2 shots of coffee, no extra charge. Uber yum, happy me 💖
P.
Only place in central Auckland with is open till 11.. great place to hand out with friends... coffee is nothing special however feel of the place is good. Its mostly full even in weekdays...
L.
I don't frequent too many Starbucks but this was the dirtiest I've seen globally. I'm used to the stores being pristine. This one is huge with a second floor and it felt like a student center. It wasn't the ambiance I like to get from a Starbucks.
K.
Good coffee and delicious snacks.
T.
It's just a starbucks. Need more effort in cleaning tbh.
T.
It's busy and popular. Coffees not bad but not great either
Sometimes too busy
e.
loved the caramel espresso, apart from high price
very tidy and high quality
A.
I really love the coffee from Starbucks but the only problem I found is that is quite a small store and if you would like to have the coffee there instead takeaway, sometimes is impossible to find for an empty table. The staff is friendly.
C.
Average, never enough tables. Very busy and a few orders were made incorrectly leading to the wrong items being taken. Takeaway is good
M.
Starbucks has no comparison for their coffees.. the standard they have is all the same in each store.. no taste different... would always recommend Starbucks first to anyone wanting to start their love for coffee..
L.
Bonus point for opening on Easter Sunday. Was a bit surprised that the 'economic capital of NZ' is not much into trades on Easter weekend when tourists sank Auckland (just watch that crowd for Waiheke ferry). Staffs handle their work professionally showing no discontent towards working on public holiday (in stark contrast to some French waitresses I've encountered elsewhere).
S.
Hot chocolate ummm yummy it's probably the only coffee shop open till 12 am in Auckland CBD during the week.
Y.
Very nice place with busy service people and nice coffee. However, the service person sometimes forgets the coffee ordered and makes it after I complained. Busy place so I try to understand.
B.
Fast and delicious coffee a bit dirty but it's understandable because they are very busy
C.
My friend and I used to rendezvous here every fortnight and it is probably my favourite cafe in Auckland CBD. It's perfectly placed in the corner of Queen st and Victoria St. Free limited WiFi is available and obviously and the service is great with seating on first floor as well. This is probably the largest cafe in Auckland Central with two floors. The staff and the manager is exceptionally professional and friendly. There was a time when my order was delayed where the manager happily refunded me with a free coupon for my next drink. Does get crowded over the weekend.
B.
One of the better Starbucks in town. Service is always good and the cosy seating upstairs is very inviting. Pop in often when in town, no complaints.
C.
Average starbucks coffee like anywhere in the world. Very busy location and seemed a bit understaffed - rubbish bins were all full and no one was cleaning up tables
M.
Good Starbucks with some decent seating for those wanting to kick back with their cup of brew. My only criticism is the food can be a bit stale at times but this applies to all Starbucks in NZ.
B.
They gave me wrong order and I have to wait for a new one for long.
L.
Pretty busy but i ordered a mocha frap and a ham&cheese toastie. Mocha frap is ALWAYS THE BEST but my ham &cheese toastie was over toasted and dry. Other then that. .pretty awesome
P.
Welcoming people, very careful of COVID, very efficient. Clean place. Keep up the good work!
P.
cosy atmosphere esp after renovation
I.
I picked up a smart phone in the female toilet this afternoon(1/25) and handed it to the store counter. If anyone lost her phone, please go to the counter.
A.
Starbucks in Auckland CBD. Supports many tables for crowds and has many experienced staff on floor. Downside is due to it's location - tends to get too crowded. Would recommend for your daily dose of caffeine.
E.
Food and drinks are consistent but long wait times.
A.
The coffee there is very nice but they need to make sure the coffee is filled up the top and the food is delicious
g.
As usual... faithfull to its reputation ! Great.
J.
Happy to know that they open super early in the mornings. Sometimes the barista has an attitude, but coffee is usually amazing.
G.
Got to go to Starbucks once in your life time right..but seriously though lots of coffees to choose from i enjoyed the visit
F.
Bonus points for being open til midnight. In Auckland, that's a rarity. As for coffee and food, a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. If you've been to one, you know the taste.
P.
Standard Starbucks in Queenstown. However, in a town which is massively overpriced, Starbucks' fixed price coffees and snacks (comparable to other Starbucks, I mean) makes the drinks and food seem comparatively cheap! I noticed they stock small pies, lots of ham and cheese toasties and chicken and apricot toasties, which were new to me. Friendly staff, plenty of seating.
The wifi requires you to sign up with an email address.
S.
security guy is amazing, and the male staff, Gab, has good presentation
C.
This is a great café, friendly staff and has a good range of food and drinks. There is a really relaxing upstairs area that is really peaceful which is nice given that the store is on one of the busiest streets in auckland.
M.
The upstairs lounge area makes this a great place to study, relax, or just hang out. Really cool location and furnishings for a Starbucks
G.
Ordered a cold coffee blended, really wish I hadn't, no sweetness and coffee was way too strong, had same order at other places that were much better, sorry to be frank.
z.
I really like the coffee.. Lots of people here as it is located in the heart of downtown. The price is affordable and rich of options in menu list.
s.
Had a really nice hot chocolate here the stuff are very friendly & good service
C.
A rather small, older sort of starbucks, also what I ordered was completely wrong and the line was to busy to complain, bit of a shame seeing its in a great spot, might be better off supporting local Batista's
F.
I once visited here, and told them my name was Bartholomew, because polysyllabic names are easy to pick out in a crowd. I ordered one of their iced-christmas special things. It was good.
T.
Was served by a guy named Paul Leendon according to my receipt, and he was super lovely and professional. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen :) a very nice start to my morning
D.
The couches upstairs are super cute if u can get a seat
Like great for a catch up with a group of friends
Super busy now cause the other one on queen street closed rip
But that’s not on this place
Drinks nice obvs
M.
Drinks and service were good. The place was quite loud as it's a popular spot and gets pretty crowded. There's a second level with a nice view of the street.
L.
really good coffee! with only one bright bubbly barista, the other Asian people lacked charisma and seemed out of place. 😊😊👌☕👋
J.
Nice atmosphere but many people use their laptops with tables for 2 or 4 people(1 person uses a table like that) without drink orders.
s.
Nice food and coffee. Staff is very nice. Will be back when we are in town.
m.
Staff were friendly coffee was good But they are really busy. Which means good coffee lol
Y.
Same as all other Starbucks franchise. Okay coffee for a marked up price because of the branding. But what can you expect from a chain outlet?
N.
Too busy, too small, bustling and hustling. Cannot really sit down and enjoy the great drinks. Wait like vultures for a table. Pity.
M.
Great starbucks the Queens Street store
W.
Great coffee and food with no hassles. Good service and reasonably quick considering it was lunch hour for all the office workers.
R.
Lots of great cabinet food and love the white chocolate mocha with coconut milk
R.

J.
Great place for a coffee, Zach really gives the place a good name
Y.
Pretty good coffee.. can get really crowded at times coz of its location in the heart of the city..
J.
Always crowded. Good luck finding a place to seat. If you do need a Starbucks, walk up Queen Street for a few minutes and you will find another one on the opposite side.
P.
Busy but lovely place to be here with loved one. Lot of sofa sitting to relax and enjoy starbucks drinks and snack. Love this place.
g.
My favorite is green tea frappuccino.😋
E.
Iced mocha was good but only if it was crushed not with only ice in it more like alot of ice then the actual drink.
D.
Favourite place to go for any type of drink. Every single option is done perfectly followed with a bit of a pricey tag but it's worth it!
C.
Oat milk coffee is weak and not good. Only go there if it's the only thing open.
J.
Noisy and cramped but hot chocolate was decent. Nice and competent staff.
K.
Zachary was good very polite
R.
great coffee
free wifi
no parking
central location
no regrets
K.
Too busy, too many people, too little space, but wide variety of relatively cheap coffee and nice napkins.
s.
Busy location, easily visible from Queen & Victoria. Nice place to meet up with friends, the wifi is free for 2 hours and the staff is friendly
J.
My low rating perhaps because I am used to the USA system. I had to explain how to make an iced tea. No free refills as in America.
D.
Pretty standard Starbucks fare. The coffee is good, friendly staff too. Well situated half way up Queen Street
J.
Everything is good except the WiFi. What would Starbucks be if the WiFi is not good enough to do my work on my laptop?
S.
A little cafe, very very busy all the time
N.
Always a great coffee late night experience !!!
c.
i went here once in 2017
M.
Busy pkace, great atmosphere, always a treat to go there.

Y.
Best place the staff always give free drinks after 9pm
N.
Yummmmm my addiction.. the atmosphere is very relaxing and a good plc to hang out.. asking the staff to go to the washroom sucks though... what are we 5?
M.
Very busy place. Waiting is long still staff able to manage the customers. But not in a queue that is the biggest concern.
R.
It's a convenient place to stop with fast service.
It's drafty and cold in winter. It's pretty noisy and full, not a place to take a date but a good place to wait.
J.
Hii there folks!,

Very good location and friendly staff. Coffee and food is what you'd expect for a Starbucks.
M.
You know what you're going to get, there's loads of choice and if you've got the time, a great place to take some time out from a busy day.
J.

D.
Starbucks has great coffee, overpriced, but great. It is very busy here but the staff was very friendly, even under pressure.

S.
Always busy, but good coffee makes the wait worth while
E.
Other than being extremely busy most days, a fine stop off in the day to relax and enjoy a coffee with views of the hustle and bustle of Queens Street.
P.
Variety of coffee range
Great taste as well
Good for meetings and casual outings
J.
Best service ever here, the staff truly do know quality customer service
B.
Just like any other Starbucks but it can get very busy in peak times so expect long queues, also the first Starbucks I've ever visited that has limited wifi.
D.
In the heart of downtown Auckland on Queen St. If you need a quick coffee fix good place to stop, unless you want more artisan coffee I would by pass Starbucks
C.
Very crowded during the day (hard to find a table) but otherwise a good place for a coffee.
S.
Too crowdy but the coffee and a chocolate muffins were tasty
J.
Really good fraps, great speed and good service!!
A.
Customer service wasn't good, I was waiting in line at the counter and one of the staff ignored me and didn't offer to serve even though she wasn't doing anything, she was just standing there behind the counter, she didn't greet or smile and just gave me the stare.
F.
A good spot for coffee & Tea in the main CBD area at Queen Street
