Nice sweet cafe tucked away in Avondale, the fact that two of their pies received a 5th & 8th placing in this year's pie awards is why we had to try it, but honestly we saw the breakfasts that were coming out & had to try them instead. Were not disappointed. Medium size big breakfast for $11.50 exceptionally value & a delicious mocha. Will be returning for sure.

Came here because it was placed in the pie awards. Smoked chicken and leek pie was 5 stars. Mince & Cheese pie, 4 stars, Steak & Cheese, Bacon & Egg pie 3.5 stars. Caramel slice 5 stars, chocolate brownie 3 stars.

It's a very remote location to dine in for breakfast & lunch. If you like a quiet location. Its a way from my traffic & noise in some cases. But its great in the morning for coffee tho...

I didn't realize this place had seating inside as I always pass by. I went in with my daughter and grandson. We ordered a hot drink gingerbread 2 muffins and other pastry food. As we were waiting I read the menu and discovered a nice variety on what they had to offer as well as the cost was affordable. So I'm coming back to have breakfast or lunch here. Friendly smile good service always first impression helps make your day more positive 😀

Known affectionately as "La Taste" amongst friends, this cafe quietly has the best cooked breakfast for flavour and price. Menu 1, side of hash browns and a flat white. Winning. Always greeted with a smile, and they always get the coffees right. Always. 😎☕

Staffs were good. We waited about half an hour to get our foods because there was no bun left in the restaurant, and the staff offered some complimentary chips and drinks. Foods were overpriced. Paid $18 for Prime Burger but the pattie was something you could buy from the supermarket, tasted very similar to cheap burgers from takeaway shops. It's not worth that much money.
