Lovely cafe with lots of space and high ceiling. Iced latte was very nice. Friendly staff. All coffees are on the low side compared with other cafes in the area. Would come back to try some food.

If Teed Street Larder @teedstreetlarder were a season, it’d be AUTUMN, with its cool rustic vibes and fragrant, spiced drinks 🍁☕️ LOVED their Matcha Frappe - which our waiter also endorsed as a fan favourite. Would highly recommend trying 🍵 The food was wonderful and earthy, and the menu had lots of different options and variations of each dish 🤩 The Pan-Fried Tiger Prawns was defs a fave, with the orzo (little pasta things 😝), dressing, prawns and pancetta mixing together to create many mouthfuls of DELICIOUSNESS 🍤🍝🥓 Also got the Eggs Benedict and Crispy Duck, both very tasty 🍳Not to mention their fabulous staff who were very friendly and gave us lots of helpful recommendations! 🥰 With its spacious interior and relaxed atmosphere, Teed Street Larder seems like the PERFECT place for a study sesh or to enjoy a good book in the light breeze in the outside seating 📚🍃 Would for sure love to come back in the future to do just that!! 😊 Insta @food_reviews_nz

My first visit Cafe stop in 2022. Randomly came upon this place when looking for a coffee and quick breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised by the good vibes and excellent 3beans coffee. Will definitely come again soon to dine in.

Super friendly service, great coffee, best Guava & Apple frappe..and delish Lemon tart and Apple Brioche donut. Wow! Wish we hadn't had a big lunch elsewhere. Oh well good excuse to go back and try something else before heading back to Welly. Thank you..well deserved 5 stars!

The cafe is quite nice and bright. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. I stopped by for quite an early breakfast, around 0700. There wasn't many people sitting down but there were a few who were taking coffee away. Apart from their food menu, they also had a few cabinet and counter items. The menu looks similar to most other cafes but the chicken livers surprised me and I decided to try it, with the bacon. They also had a lunch menu but I figured I was a bit too early for that. I grabbed an iced chocolate for a drink and it was ok, similar to a frappe since it was blended with ice. It was thick but also a bit slimy and the flavour was there but not very strong. the chicken livers was nice. I would've liked it a bit rarer but it was still nice. I enjoyed the sauce with the bread and the livers. It was a fairly hearty breakfast. I has nice food and it was quite comfortable. The place isn't very big so I can see it getting full really fast. It is a nice cafe option around that area.

Spicy Chai Latte & Sweet Chai Latte are better than most that I have tried in Newmarket. Make it your pit stop while shopping.

Coffee is good. The food is ok. Messed up our orders, and the Chicken Liver, which was nice, had hardly any mushrooms. So a bit meh

Great locstion, good service. 1/3 meal (chicken liver & mushroom excellent) hoki fish and chips dry and overcooked vorn fritters too salty. Coffee great.

We went for a Saturday brunch. We were a little hesitant as normally the Teed Street Larder is very loud. The place just seems to echo, but thought we would give a go as it had been refurbished. We were pleasantly surprised that the noise was much quieter. We got a nice table near the front and ordered brunch. It was very busy but the wait wasn't long. We ordered the avocado mash with poached egg and chicken liver with mushroom sauce with bacon. Both were very nice. We also order two coffees. It did get very busy and the noise did increase but as long as you are up the front its better.

The menu boasts more than your average brunch staples and it is definitely a ladder you want to raid✨😋✨ During a recent visit, had their Wild Corn with House Smoked Salmon. Every mouthful is filled with the sweetness of the chargrilled corn, the salty and tangy crumble of the feta, the perfect runny and creamy poached egg with the delicate smoky flavour of the fish lingering - yum😋. Such a genius idea to add beetroot to the usual beige coloured dip - love the colour - it ultra-dreamy and velvety smooth❣️Try it - Corn🌽is super healthy – plenty of fibre and has a healthy amount of other nutrients too❗️

It is a pretty average place. Staff are nice and helpful. The menu looks good but when the dish came out, I was disappointed. It is also over priced for what they served. I ordered the beetroot salad, it was about $20 but very small helping, tasted a bit plain too. Maybe other dishes are better.

Very pleasant on this warm afternoon fresh juice and prawns. Music is not abrasive which is always a plus. I am back 6 months later and still good have not tied the coffee am having chicken livers with bacon. It is busy but I have found a quiet corner at back of restaurant. Still recommend it.

Service was prompt the moment we walked through the doors and we were attended to very closely. Lovely food and drinks served as well and our waters were topped up on the regular, no need to flag down a passing waiter for water. There are outdoor seats as well if you're looking to take advantage of the morning or afternoon sun. Close enough to shops that you can do a bit of browsing and shopping before sitting down for a well deserved coffee.

We had lunch here and ordered the orzo with king prawns with added pancetta. The dressing was delicious with a hint of spice Also ordered the bagel with fruit, cream cheese and honey. I was a bit sceptical about my bagel order but it was actually really tasty and fresh. A welcome change to the usual BLT bagel . Coffee was too cold for my liking but staff were friendly and food was really well presented. Would try again

Love the pies here. Have tried the fish and chicken livers+bacon, Serving sizes could definitely be bigger but flavour is good.

The cinnamon brioche was massive, I would have liked more cinnamon/sauce but it came with butter which was welcome and made up for it. The coffee was very good, although I would prefer a larger cup. All in all a nice spot for a quick break.

Started the days shopping in Newmarket with breakfast in this great café. the breakfast was hot and tasty, the service was super friendly and the coffee was amongst the best I have had in Auckland. Keep up the good work team! We will be back

Great place. This is the first time I come here and have to say that I am impressed with the coffee and the burger. I tried the chicken burger for lunch and is so delicious. Next time I will come to try breakfast here, will have to come several times so I can try several foods I saw in the menu that I would love to taste. If you are looking for a place to have a delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to come.

Shady outside areas that are good for doggo's

Food was great, the side of Black Pudding was cooked perfectly and tasted exactly as it should, which is a rare find in NZ The service was outstanding, thanks to all the staff, that really knocks the sore to top marks Highly recommended for brunch and good coffees

This is my absolute favorite cafe to go to in the morning. The staff a super cool and friendly. The food is exciting and delicious! Love this place and would recommend to everyone!

Nice ambience.. Coffee needs work.. Extractions are good but the streaming and texture of the milk is very average. We tried the feta onion Olive scone.. Nice but a little bland.. Couldn't find the feta in it and could do with a sprinkle of tasty cheese or parmesan to give it a boost

Always friendly and good food.

This cafe actually has nice cabinet food! They have fresh baking every day. I had the ham and cheese brioche and it was so incredibly delicious. Not to mention the cakes which were beautiful and yummy!

A favourite place that my best friend and I visit when she is up from Dunedin. Food is always fab and of course bubbles for lunch to celebrate special times.

Very nice coffee shop my experience has been very good, I have visited this coffee shop few times over the last couple of months and each time my experience was consistent and serving was prompt and good coffee is really nice but other food items are also excellent. Outdoor seating is also nice and pleasant becausesun does not really shine quite brightly because of buildings. In the outside seating area there are few magonalia tress and during August when they bloom they have the biggest flowers you will ever see, I have taken some photographs but unfortunately I cannot download them from my Google photos but I will try to post them they are the biggest magnolias I've ever seen.

This is our go to coffee place when we are in Newmarket. Nice ambience, good flat whites, not as frothy as other cafes. Had their cakes and scones and were pretty good , too.

I did enjoy the meal, but I was wondering why on the counter they have Muffins, scones and none of these were covered, especially with the Corona around, these should definitley be covered. I surely wouldn't be buying any of these.

I loved the pork apricot fennel sausage roll here. Plus the guys here are super nice. Definitely drop by here for a coffee or breakfast if you're at Newmarket.

One of my favorite cafes in Newmarket! Friendly staff, good food and great coffee! Order one of the sandwiches from the cabinet and grab a coffee and enjoy! I have limited experience with the menu, however the pancakes are excellent. The wagyu mince on toast leaves something to be desired.

Sadly it's been a long time since I experienced great hospitality at a café, but thankfully Teed Street Larder broke that drought. I tend to be cautious about giving good ratings for customer service, as the staff can so often change and you may just get the best staff member amongst a team as a one-off, but in this case there were three people working behind the counter and every one of them was really friendly. I just had coffee on this visit (with a glass of water delivered by one of the friendly staff) but as far as I can tell the food looked pretty amazing as well. Nice, trendy decor, open space while remaining cosy, good background music, and even a nice selection of magazines that were carefully arranged and displayed rather than a pile shoved on a shelf. There are a lot of nice-looking cafés in this area, so the competition is fierce, but these guys have the friendly and professional service that I haven't seen anywhere else in quite a while.

Food price leans a little bit on the expansive side but it's worth it. Ordered buttermilk pancake, which is soft and fluffy; hollandaise sauce is great on the eggs bene and it goes really well with the bread; 72% hot chocolate is good but I've had better ones elsewhere

Started as one of the few posh cafes in Newmarket. Fresh pastry, good food, we would come for lunch. However the menu food has become less interesting now and so has the pastry sitting out the counter. What a shame.

Great food, and great service. Staff members are very friendly, helpful and professional. Food are changed every now and then, so if you like an item, better indulge on it while it last. The portion is unfortunately quite small. Parking in this area also ridiculously hard to find.

not a great menu range, alot of sandwiches but not standard cafe stuff, got a pork pie which had a really strange taste to it. but had an ice chocolate which was amazing and had a young lady who was a very kind server so good overall

Favourite cafe when visiting Auckland. Last time I had the roast lamb shoulder with beetroot wild rice & harissa, SO had the pork & cider pie. Both were delicious. I regret not getting the almond pastry to go. Maybe next time.

Teed St Larder is well known to have some creative dishes and solid baking- all true! I love hot often they change up their menu, on my last visit I had peanut butter and jelly french toast, it was terrific. The only thing that holds it back from being excellent is the price, you'll be coughing up around an extra 8-10 clams over other local cafes. I would definitely recommend it though!

Great selection of cabinet food, however service was quite off the pace. Lets see if this is a trend for a historically "good" cafe.

Good coffee. I was put-off, however, when I saw the cashier woman, who was wearing a glove on her right hand, handled a note in her left , then right hand, to put it into the cashier machine. She then removed a lid from some 'goodies' and picked the 'goodie' up with her gloved right hand.....no tongs and with a hand which had handled a curency note. The good coffee fact became neutralized. I will not return.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday. We got seated way down the back, by the toilets, in an area that felt like a mall food court. The food was okay, but nothing special.

I have an awkward relationship with Teed St larder, every time I go I love the food the service is great but I'm not inspired to go back. It can only be the lighting and layout that lets it down.
