E.Titirangi again!
The cafe is just right at the corner exceptional location.
Coffee is good I enjoy it.
Tried the lunch special, Red Wine Scotch Steak, not bad actually.
$25.5 a bit pricey for a lunch but once in a while loving yourself isn't bad.
M.Yummy pizza, garlic bread and calamari...awesome service and great coffee....crew was nice and friendly
S.Lovely little spot to stop for breakfast. Fresh food, great service, lovely coffee and buzzy atmosphere. They have ready-to-take items to picnic with and some lovely wines and beers on offer. We sat outside and had a lovely time. The staff are very attentive, warm yet professional.
N.Not sure what happened but my experience here not great. The eggs meant to be over easy were not and mushrooms were overcooked and rubbery while the rosti was as a crispy outer while the inside was mushy. Overall the food was underwhelming and even the coffees were warm and not hot. Sorry The HC.
M.Just had a very leisurely brunch today. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. I will be back. Highly recommend.

D.Hardware Cafe is a gem! You're already spoiled by being in beautiful Titirangi, but sitting out in the porch here, having good coffee and some kumara wedges was a treat! We both had a coconut latte and it was a little heavy on the foam to liquid ratio, but it tasted great. The kumara chips were delicious, crispy and hot, with that moreish quality. We did ask for a sweet chilli dip and a tomato ketchup, but we were given sweet chilli and aioli. No bother as we like it anyway, but attention to detail and a little more coffee than froth would have made this a 5 star! Good atmosphere and a great setting.

A.Nice food in the heart of tititrangi and the staff were nice enough. However was let down by the massive wait time for food. Think they forgot our meal as people who came in and sat after us received theirs before us. Understand it happens sometimes but just a let down! Coffee was made well though 👌

D.We had a lovely lunch. The food was good and hot! Service was excellent and a nice vibe in the place. The decor is average but the standard of food matters more. We managed to get a parking spot in the carpark next door if only Titirangi wasn't such a parking challenge we'd go there more often.

V.I am not big fan of Cafes but this is by far the best cafe I have ever bin. Awesome hot chocolate, nice place to sit. And most importantly a lot of options for vegetarians....

T.Visited during level three lockdown. Coffee was fine but the portions were small. Cabinet food was nice but proper lockdown rules were not being followed. The cashier grabbed my debit card without gloves and used paywave without asking me or allowing me to review the amount.
C.Really lovely people and normally good coffee in the morning but have been several times during the day when it is busy and they consistently get the coffee order wrong. Sorry guys but it shouldn’t be that hard. There’s only two of us ordering at a time!
R.Really welcomed on arrival, enjoyed a good breakfast with excellent coffee and tea. Obviously the locals know about this place as most of them welcomed by name. We had scrambled eggs with bacon and tomatoes can recommend this cafe for a great brekkie
R.Felt a little too close to the curb at our table but coffee was excellent, had a second. We had two different omelettes, not complex but nicely done (I hate them overcooked). The Afghan was good, a little coconutty.
Edit: Went again a year later, with a large group, 12 people and about 10 dogs (mostly guide dog puppies). They handled the group very, very well, there were a couple of mix ups but they were mostly the customer getting things confused.

A.Awesome food and service from the coffee guy, although I was charged $14.50 for a half eggs benny. (1 egg, 1 piece of bread, 1 piece of bacon) When a full one was $17 (2 of everything). Argued it though, and they gave for $9 in the end :)
Still really enjoyed the food and have been here quite a few times - coffee guy helped take the price down.
T.Ordered an “iced chocolate” and it was a hyped chocolate milk! Only had chocolate sauce inside the glass. No ice cream or even ice anywhere near it! Ordered a Mocha also which was nice but very disappointed!!! This cafe has been a favourite for years
m.Amazing breakfast and coffee, staff are awesome. Food portions in the OH MY GOD size and except for a corner of one toast being over cooked, everything in the bushmans breaky and the eggs benedict got eaten with gusto and relish. Coffee comes in the tiny cups, a mug or in the holy crap is that a head sized bowl?
So we were very lucky to miss all the other places we could have stopped thanks to lack of parking and serendipity shat all over us when we tripped over this gem of a cafe😊

H.Much less crowded than it used to be a few years ago, which was good. Water bottles need a good scrub tho and the table was dangerously wobbly.

W.Super friendly! Brought along a very wet smelly dog and without even asking they brought out water for her. We had the best ice choclate and coffe a have ever tested. Not to mention some mean Kumra fries. Everyone who works here seems to love it. Giving off a very infection happy vibe.

f.We've tried this cafe 3x over the last 3yrs, unfortunately, on all 3 occassions we've had to leave early because of smokers at neibouring tables. Won't be back. Get with the programme and go SMOKE FREE.
