A.Up Cafe is my go to whenever I am in the city! I bring my friends here, catch up for lunch and drive in from West for brunch on weekends sometimes too! Lisa and the Team are amazing, so welcoming. The vibe of the cafe is very chill. The FOOD! Amazing, delicious, quality food - massive servings too so real value for money. I highly recommend going here - these are only a few of the photos ive taken - I love the Creamy Mushrooms or the waffles, the Caesar salad is amazing - in fact the whole menu is a vibe! If you have never been, you should go! Support local.

L.Our family had the best experience! Lisa had a warm and friendly approach to all the customers. Food was of abundance and so delicious. I wish that we had an Up Cafe in Tokoroa and cannot wait to visit again, especially for the Kokoccino.
T.This café is really great for breakfast. About the only downside was that we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food and so we'd finished our drinks by then. The staff were very friendly and the waffles were huge and delicious!
T.Catered for my baby shower and the food was so good as I didn’t want anything big but a grazing table and this was perfect. Lisa was quick to set up also especially commuting from the city to Flat Bush while her cafe was still open. So she went above and beyond. Thank you upcafe 🙏🏽
C.HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I will definitely be coming back here once out of lockdown. The best service! Lisa and her team are all so friendly and welcoming. The food is very delicious I had pasta of the day which was, creamy chicken and mushroom and I’m speechless. The kids had their pizza and the mega green smoothie which was so tasty. My partner had the beef and bacon burger and he really enjoyed it as well!
J.Up Cafe food is always good, the service efficient and the premises pleasant and comfortable, but more importantly, the staff are friendly and create a warm family atmosphere for their many regulars. I have used their services for a large celebration and I thoroughly recommend them for this too!
j.As a cafe: Feels like home at Up Cafe. The owners and staff are all super friendly. We have tried a few different options of the menu and never been disappointed. Few different seating options within the Cafe to choose from (as a mum I love that there's a space where I can dine with my children without disturbing the other patrons, or escape my children if I prefer an outdoor option 😆). If you're lucky, there might be koko Samoa on the menu when you visit 😋
As a venue: Love it so much I used Up Cafe as the venue for my engagement party. The owners were so accommodating and gave me a range of options to choose from for catering. Would highly recommend!
Don't be deterred by parking issues - plenty of options on the side streets and all within a 2 minute walk - totally worth it and always a good cause supporting a small family business.

M.When you enter the hotel lobby just head up those stairs (or lift) to find this little GEM. The service is warm and genuine. The menu is of great value at no expense of quality. Perfect spot and a must try when you're in the heart of Auckland. 10/10!!

J.Woah this place was good. We were looking for waffles and we hit a home run. I probably will skip the mince toast next time since it was really strong on the spice level and about 200% more meat than it needed. Check out those coffees!?!

A.Excellent food and great atmosphere. My wife and I went here after the morning rush for breakfast. The menu had lots of interesting options. Everything we had was really tasty. The Eggs Benedict with mushrooms was my favorite and had a really unique flavor. Highly recommended.

S.Up Cafe is my go to whenever I am in Auckland. This cafe is a hidden gem on the first floor of Quay West apartments in Albert st. Always first class friendly service from Lisa the owner and Elise her helper.
Food is always fresh and delicious . Servings substantial so really great value. Eggs Benedict are the best in Auckland. Great selection of home cooked quiches ,scones and sweets.
Up Cafe is a must try.

M.Really enjoyed my experience at Up Cafe! Saw it through a few acquaintances page and it sealed the deal for me! I’m a big fan of pancakes and waffles and lucky enough they had waffles so I definitely gave it a try and I was not disappointed! Her Koko Samoa range is definitely worth a try for those who miss it back home and for those willing to try something new! The hostess/owner served us and we had a nice chat about her business. Such a lovely person and hope for the best in her endeavors❤️

N.Last week Saturday, came in off the street looking for something to eat & the sign captured our eye, such a beautiful & placid place to eat food was excellent & so was the service, met the owner of the cafe & she was so welcoming & looked after us until we finished our meal & cuppers. I highly recommend everyone to stop in to eat, drink or to relax after a long trip into the city or just to say hi to this lovely lady. We had no idea where we were going or where to eat, but I'm glad to have to have come across this place I'll be sure when I or my whanau are in the city again to come straight here to eat some good food & drink beautifully hot coffees 😊
A.Ohhh man, we stumbled on this place by accident and man are we glad we did. By far the nicest breakfast I've had on New Zealand.
I ended up having the UP full breakfast which was a delicious fry up, gorgeous bread, lovely sausages and hash browns/eggs were yummy (and the portions were huge).
Really great value for money and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating.
We already plan to come back tomorrow.
L.I seldom give reviews for my dining experience but Up Cafe deserves one. I came in for lunch with a friend. I ordered a haloumi burger and fries and my friend a big breakfast. The burger is simply satisfying and substantial. The big breakfast is big as the name has it, certainly would make those big eaters happy and smiling. Simple menus done well and that's what I like.
The staff are friendly and the ambience is nice and relaxing. Thanks for the lovely experience! =)

Always smiling and very welcoming. It’s just a shame that the Sebel Quay West where she is located on the First Floor does not promote her Cafe more. They originally referred us to the Stamford, why I have no idea. They should be promoting Up Cafe, we ate there every day and loved the vibe, and yes they are licensed!

A.Absolutely delicious. I had the granola and yogurt as well as the eggs and toast. The eggs were a beautiful golden color creamy as could be; on top of the tangy sourdough with real butter, it was a taste that I couldn't get enough of.
E.I hosted my university graduation dinner here last night. Food was absolutely to die for and the portion of it was very generous. Lisa was such a lovely owner. She made sure that everyone was enjoying the food and having a good time. She even went out out of her way to offer a bottle of champagne that came on the house. Overall a great night and the best service I've ever received at a restaurant! Whakawhetai ki a koe Lisa! I will definitely be back soon.

N.Looking for a quality low fuss place to eat, in a nice setting? This is it!. As out of towners the city has been hard at times to navigate a nice place to eat. All we wanted was a good breakfast and 'Up Cafe' served us well. From adults, teens, a 5yr old and an infant. Great prices, amazing portions, nice atmosphere and great service by the owner herself.
Our whanau are currently navigating the world of child cancer and have been apart of city for 2weeks already. 2 to go. This cafe has been our best place to eat so far. Very suitable for our teenager who prefers more quiet settings, not too overly crowded, and yummy food.
Every meal was fantastic. We had Porridge. Full breaky. Salmon Benedict. Eggs on toast. Mince on toast. Smoothies and coffees. All great meals.

The background music from the 80s also met my taste exactly. The food and drink were impeccable and reasonably priced.

Ich habe mich hier ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und es hat niemanden gestört, daß sie sich zu Bekannten kurz an einen Tisch gesetzt und ein Schwätzchen gehalten hat. So soll es sein.
Die Hintergrundmusik aus den 80ern hat ebenfalls genau meinen Geschmack getroffen. Essen und Trinken waren tadellos und angenehm im Preis.
Ich freue mich, die gute Atmosphäre im Up Cafe erlebt zu haben und hoffe, wieder einmal dorthin zu kommen.
