Good foods quality 👍🏻 but the coffee just average 🤔

F.Usual place for me to grab my morning coffee as they serve pretty good coffee and service is generally pretty good too. Have dine in a few times too and overall the food was quite good. Probably one of the better cafes in the area.

B.Best big breakfast I've had from any Cafe I've been to. Everything on the plate was perfect. The baked beans are a must try! The owner is a great bloke, definitely will be back in the future.
C.Best eggs bene ever… and the biggest. Tons of crispy bacon and hollandaise sauce. My new go-to cafe. Owner is very friendly.
B.Stopped by for lunch. It wasn't too busy since we were here quite late so we picked a table by the door.
The menu was a bit different to other cafes, for instance, the iced chocolate here had coconut cream so it had a bit of a different flavour.
The meals were a bit more standard. I had the mince on toast with a poached egg, It was nice, with the mince sweetened with grated carrots. A nice way to hide veggies for those who don't like it. I was expecting a bit more gravy to dip the bread in though.
Also tried a bit of the fish sliders and it wasn't bad.
Overall a nice cafe with friendly staff.
M.Staff were very professional and accommodating. Was nice to sit outside with our dogs and enjoy the atmosphere. Food was nice and the menu had a good variety of options. Only disappointment was my poached eggs were hard boiled but when I informed a member of staff it was resolved instantly and they were genuinely apologetic. Will definitely return, probably even as soon as next week!
J.Love this cafe and all food served! Tried beef burger and it was melting in my mouth. And wonder how about pork burger! Will try next! All staff are always smile and look after every minutes!

W.Very nice food, customer service and environment. Plenty of car park at the back. They also have a lot of choices of breads, cakes or muffins. A lot of different types of drinks too. Good job! We will come back again.
M.This post is for two different occasions. 1.5 years ago had a hot chocolate just perfect and right. Unlike some places they make it super sweet.
Also their service, always welcoming customers with such a smile and making sure our orders taken right.

Upgrade review because I had an excellent lunch and coffee today, exactly as ordered which wasn't on the menu, two poached eggs, on grain bread toast with two servings of bacon, nearly couldn't finish the bacon and I love my bacon with a great flat white coffee still a little frothy but nice big mug and extra hot just what the doctor ordered, yuummmy 👍😉🤩
B.The meal itself was ok, had to hunt down knife fork and serviette, some staff were interactive the rest were to busy talking amongst themselves.
D.Great service from the waitresses, friendly and timely with coffee and food orders. Not over bearing like the way other establishments will make you feel rushed. Definitely coming back.
S.Always enjoyed the food here, had mince on toast with a potato rosti - very filling, didn't quite manage to finish everything. Wife had eggs bene had was also full before finishing but we both enjoyed it. Took away some banana bread for later.
Just something to be aware of is it can be a busy place, if you're coming through on a Saturday when the Howick market is on it can be difficult to get a table here sometimes.

B.Ordered the buttermilk blueberry pancakes which were really tasty and a really good portion size. Also ordered a peppermint hot chocolate which was delicious. The staff were really friendly as well. Overall a fantastic little cafe in Howick.

J.Probably the best reintroduction to Sunday brunch after a grueling lockdown we could have asked for. The Eggs bene with panfried fish was one of the nicest meals I've had at a cafe to date. Fantastic service, very accommodating to the fussier member of our party, tables spaced out accordingly to abide by social distancing. Would give 6 starts if I could.

Great coffee is always essential and I wasn't disappointed here.
I had the Urban Chicken - the chicken was cooked to perfection, with delicious halloumi and garlic pitta to die for, served with a generous helping of leafy greens and a grilled tomato. All in all a delicious meal.
This place is great value for money and a new favourite of mine.

S.I went there for the first time on Sunday and was very impressed with the café. The staff were very friendly, and the food was great. I was also very impressed with the Barista, unsure if he was the manager or owner. But the way he spoke to the staff was great, nothing was an issue, handled everything very professionally and friendly. And his interaction with the customers was great.
They have a great team here.

D.Went over the Easter Weekend and it seemed they were struggling to cope with the customers. We waited for more than 30 minutes and didn't even end up getting our coffees. When we asked, they said they didn't know what had happened and gave us the options of either re-ordering or leaving. We chose to leave.
The only reason there are still three stars is because the past few times we came here we found the food to be good and reasonably priced. Would recommend coming here on a normal weekend.
A.This is such a cozy little gem in Howick and ideal for a quick breakfast or lunch. Normally packed during the breakfast rush it is sometimes a bit of a challenge to find a table, which only attests to the popularity and quality this eatery provides. The staff are always eager to help and we always receive excellent service and suggestions on meals.
Z.This is my favourite cafe in the area. Coming in for a quick coffee or longer lunch is always a great experience. Friendly staff, amazing food and incredible coffee. Would recommend.

j.Great service! Great food! The waiter and waitresses are super hip. The cafe is small but very nicely decorated. Bf got the chicken and bacon burger and i got the mince on toast. The mince was a little dry but thats all good.
A.The Staff were amazing and super onto everything! loved their enthusiasm :) unfortunately the manager was very disrespectful towards them as i consistently heard yelling towards the staff who seemed to be making no mistakes. Would loved to have visited again but this put me off:(

A.Ive went back a few times since their menu has changed and I tend to go every now and again with it being local to me. The food and service is really consistently good no gripes really. I do think a move to another coffee supplier could help eg ozone, supreme, kokako to name a few possibilities Haha but that's more a personal taste preference. Howick could use more spots like this really.

The only thing wrong I thought with the place were the rude customers going out of their way to make life hard for staff. Grumpy old folk. Apart from that my definite favorite. The foods always the best. The coffees get better every time !
