Passing through Blenheim on the way to Picton we stopped in here. Among the best cafes I have been too, quick service, good taste in music, awesome food and great presentation too. Being further out from Blenheim it also seemed less packed then the cafes in the town centre. Will definitely recommend.

A very nice place for a quick bite with family and friends. It's a very cozy place and there is a small playground for kids. The food is very good and the coffee was excellent. Always really nice to see places that have a water cooler for customers to freely use.

A fantastic cafe with some amazing local and homemade food! We enjoyed the full Haven Kai breakfast which was cooked perfectly and everything tasted great! The staff were friendly, attentive and the service was quick.

Was a little slow on service compared with other visits. Gad finished drinks gegore food came. Nice servers and very friendly.

Lovely setting and very child friendly. Just driving through and selected based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. Not in the middle of town so parking not a problem. Coffee was superb and food lovely (Kai breakfast and French toast). Service was exceptional and speedy. Highly recommend and if we are ever back in Blenheim will be back again. Thanks for a terrific start to our day!!

Quaint little place that is young family friendly, outdoor play area and drink was okay when finally delivered. My order was forgotten and it wasn't busy, I didn't have coffee just a lemon ginger drink which wasn't that great just okay. Didn't try the food.

Fantastic spinach and feta pastry. Good strong spinach flavour that did not disappoint. Pretty grand bit of lollycake to chase it down too. Great play area for kids!!!

Came for breakfast and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked eggs, great coffee. Got some cabinet food to go which I'm currently eating right now and I'm honestly blown away at how good my quiche and cheesecake are. I stopped in as I was traveling through and I'm sad I can't go back. Eat here!

Nice seating along the windows, nice and warm on a winter morning. Huge selection of cabinet food and cakes, looks amazing, and variety to suit many diets! Coffee roast never tastes the greatest served black, a bit earthy, could benefit from a lighter roast. Perhaps the team could offer a couple of different roasts on the menu "Organic" and "House blend" for example, which is common in other coffee shops. I'm a house blend kinda guy. Outdoor seating isn't the best, you feel like you're jammed into a kindergarten some days. Perhaps they could build a new patio area outside the main door with a bit of wind shelter. Will keep coming back here nevertheless! 😊

Breakfast and coffee was amazing, what was even better was the warm hospitality from the staff working here. I forgot my purse with my wallet in it and realized after an hour so I called them and they said they spotted it and immediately kept it safe for my return. So very grateful for the good people at Haven Cafe! Thank you so much again!!

A great cafe with an amazing choice of foods and drinks. Lovely friendly staff, very welcoming. I would definately recommend this cafe. It has a lovely children's play area which is very secure. Both indoor and outdoor dining.

Went there for lunch today. Coffee's were luke warm. Asked for them to be heated but they re made them. Luke warm again. Had eggs benedict and french toast. Was delicious but meals were only just warm. Staff were lovely.

Had a group of 5 of us. Bought coffee, milkshake and food. Coffee came first before anything else. Then 7mins later the tea and then after 14mins waiting for the food (only to be toasted), there were 2 of them in the cabinet only to tell tell us last mintue that they had sold and had to make new ones. Really need to improve on service timing, especially if there is an group of people. They did do complementary free coffee cards which is considerate, most cafes would just apologize.

This is consistently my fave cafe anywhere in nz! Lots of gluten free choices, raw plant based options, tasty food that's a little bit different.. but options for everyone. Always friendly team and exceptional service!

Welcome stop on the road from Auckland. Egg and bacon pie was a meal in itself. Get a refill of tea or coffee. Beautiful view over river. Gift shop selling interesting merino and possum garments.
