Honestly the best coffee we have had in a very long time.. Staff were amazing and the over all look of the place is gorgeous.. The garden art is very cool. Would totally give a 10/10 .... Wish it was closer to where we live.

Sorry lilypad Cafe you're correct .1st time made this error.see below. Your Cafe is a delight garden beautiful art amazing beautiful here for young and old and space for children to play. Good parking. Country scenery. So if you want to get away from the maddening crowd this is a good choice. Cake and slices yummy and coffee good. As yet I have not ordered meals.there is a good selection on menu. Big apology have rewritten this review as I had wrong Cafe name for review that was in place. All fixed now.

The enviroment is really cool with many creactive garden arts. Iced mocha is the top recommendation for drink in summer. Overall the amount is quite big. We also ordered lamb tarco and little pad breakfast. Taste is good. :D

Interesting Art gallery cum cafe with decent cafe grub. Had the pork belly & fried chicken burger. Food was good although slightly pricey for the size of the portions. Loved the Coffee!

There is a good, friendly vibe amongst the ladies working there, which makes customers feel welcome. Morgan, who was taking my order this morning was exceptional. The regular breakfast menu had not a lot for my specific needs: vegetarian, without eggs & savoury. Upon asking Morgan, she offered several solutions to alter items to suit me. She came up with the idea to change the scrambled eggs to scrambled tofu.To top it off she asked if I would want it with Oatmilk instead of the usually used Soymilk, because she had noticed that I ordered my coffee with Oatmilk! That is 5 star customer service, awesome Morgan, thank you!!

It's quite pricey, but the food was fantastic. The kumara chips were the best I have ever had, and would go back there, just for them. Staff were all lovely and helpful, a delightful place to have a lunch.. will be returning.

Just passing through on a cool morning and stopped at this quirky cafe/art place. What a treat - the fire was going, the staff friendly and nice selection of savoury and sweet treats. Beautiful garden filled with arty creations.

A great place for a special lunch and absolutely fantastic dessert from the cabinet. It does pay to book in advance if you want to go on a weekend/public holiday. The Garden Art Studio has a great range of NZ artists work and some amazing cr actions to look at while you wander around the cafe garden.

Great artsy destination café & shop in the country. Plenty of off road parking. Flat easy access for wheelchairs. Lovely wooden interior. Part of the seating in the café is in a wonderful semi outside bit, with clear roll up plastic sides so that you are protected from the wind & rain in the cooler weather. I guess they are rolled up in summer to allow air to flow. Great cup of peppermint tea, lovely big fresh spinach & cheese scones with plenty of butter. The cabinet food all looked lovely. Even a few gluten free options too

This cafe is nestled in and among an outdoor art gallery. The yard art creations are amazing and awe inspiring. The cafe was bustling when I stopped in for a coffee and to do a little work in the road. The WiFi is strong and so is the coffee! Wait staff was friendly and a number of tables were reserved for brunch, so it appears to be a hopping place. The venue asks that no pictures are taken but I did sneak one of the friendly chicken that followed me around! I did not sample the food but the atmosphere of this open cafe was spot on! There’s a spot for children to play and more creativity abounds in the layout of this cafe. It’s inspiring - stop in! You’ll love it!

Very quirky arty studio/Cafe, yummy coffee, pork belly dish also delicious, spicy humus have it a subtle kick to this meal, with sweet carrots, and basil/pesto...overall flavours complimentary, absolutely satisfying. 👍I also fit in dessert, a slice of 🍒 pie... attentative customer service as well, must check out art work around Cafe grounds and studio... worth the drive out of Hamilton. Will definitely be back.

Very enjoyable meal in a lovely setting. Staff were friendly and attentive without hovering or being intrusive. Tables were a nice big size so you didn't feel cramped and there was plenty of room for your plates and drinks. Serving sizes were generous and the food was delicious. It was also very good value for money. We will certainly return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Lily Pad.

We had a fabulous breakfast today with our two daughters aged 7 and 9. They do a wonderful menu for the kids as well as a full menu for the adults, the staff went out of their way to make our Brunch exactly the way we wanted! We will be back :) 5*****

Not impressed, my sausage was half cooked which they replaced with a cooked one. Our Japanese student ordered the curry bowl and she wouldn't eat it because she said it tasted horrible. They happily replaced it with a piece of cheese cake. We were compensated by having the cost of one tea removed from our bill.

Have been coming here for several years, sometimes pays to book on the weekend but otherwise have been seated quickly. Excellent food and great outdoor play area. The gallery at the entrance has fantastic local art works and with a look all by itself.

A very nice meal, although found service extremely poor, staff need training on serving, what's on the menu, clearing dirty plates away after meals finished, e.g. not having to clear them ourselves, and follow up service re another glass of wine or coffee. Food very tasty, surroundings lovely but in general service spoilt it.

I've been here several times and each time I've thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Prices are a little above average. Great atmosphere and with the art shop and garden makes for a pleasant relaxing time.

I've visited the Lily Pad several times, always enjoy the food and coffee. The atmosphere is lovely too, although today I got pooped on by a bird while inside haha.. but overall really enjoy the Lily pad. Have yet to try their doughnuts but they look heavenly.
