M.Arguably the best cafe in the country! Their signature Deluxe Mushroom Rolls with cashews, sage and chickpeas are certainly worth stopping by. Excellent coffee too! No wonder the place was packed even on a weekday morning - it deserves to be called a legendary institution but they’ve only been in business for 1+ year and so successful already!!

Delicious cabinet food and good coffee. No breakfast menu for cooked foods but the frittata filled the gap. Coffee is good.
A.Fantastic edition to Carterton. Great coffee delicious menu...only serves cabinet food but I found the cabinet food top quality and very tasty. No meat which is fine as that's what it's about. Gorgeous renovations to the cafe make it feel very welcoming and an enjoyable place to stop by. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome which is SO important to me. Arguably one of our favourite cafes in the wairarapa.
M.This café has a great ambiance. Great coffee, good selection of food. Friendly staff. Set on the Main Street of Carterton, and plenty of parking on the streets.
C.100% vegetarian cafe with a variety of delicious sweet and savoury options. Reasonably priced. Best vege sandwich (breakfast stack) on state highway 2!
S.As far as we could eork out this was a vegetarian cafe. The cheese scone were delicious and the coffees excellent. The other food looked very nice also
R.The best and only (?) vegetarian cafe in the Wairarapa! They only offer cabinet food but that is plenty, from pastry, scone, frittata, salad, to artisan cakes! The coffee is very delicious too! Equally important is their friendly service and modern retro decor. We had a savoury pastry roll, a frittata, a salad, and flat white. Everything was yummy, especially the plum chutney that comes with the pastry and frittata. Well, that is the opinion of two part-time vegetarians. 😊

B.Amazing food, the best coffee in town and wonderful friendly faces every time we visit.
B.Had the most delicious summer salad. My friend had a delicious spinach quiche. Service by the beautiful maori waitress was amazing. Soft-spoken giving more information to make our visit more pleasant. Was spoilt by one incident of the pakeha waitress qho almost threw my salad down on the table, no reference as to where cutlery is, or bringing serviettes because there weren't any. This was done my the other waitress who then kept making sure we were happy. Lovely venue in a busy street.
p.Fantastic Food! Making a decision on what to eat is almost impossible, everything is so beautiful and you can guarantee that it will taste amasing. The excellent service and Coffee as well make this cafe one of the must visits for the Wairarapa.
J.I choose to use finom kitchen to cater for my birthday celebration and am so glad I did. Kirsten and Sarah were amazing. Their food was delicious and beautiful. Their passion for food combined with their professionalism yet relaxed vibe made it one less thing I needed to worry about. Would definitely use finom kitchen again for catering and their cafe is gorgeous too.
