J.A good rest stop along the way from Christchurch to Dunedin.
Scones were hot and fragrant. Went well with the extremely light cream and probably homemade jam.
Coffee helped to elevate fatigue from driving long distances.
The shop had lots of raspberry jams, fruits and ice cream for the sweet tooth.

E.Went on a road trip for some morning tea, got scones with jam and cream. Was so good we got some jam to take with us as well. Jam is amazing, night and day compared to supermarket stuff (even the fancy stuff).

f.This is a new must stop visit!! Gooseberry jam and sauce just YUM! Really enjoying my take home purchases. We stopped for a rest stop and got a raspberry sundae which was totally amazing!! A huge serving of fresh berries topped with enough ice-cream best ever!!
s.Cheap cherries and strawberries. Cherries are from central Otago, strawberries are fine their farm, you can buy prepacked punnets or pick your own from their farm. Ample parking on site, on the side of Dunedin to Christchurch direction. Very friendly staff, black cherries are tastier than the white ones, juicy and sweet strawberries.
D.An excellent place to stop for coffee, tea or an ice-cream and to sample cakes and buy fruit or jams from the farm.

S.Was recommended to come for the fresh berries and berry icecream. Very nice blackberry but the strawberry was not that impressive. No home made berry icecream. A bit disappointed for this. Overall a good experience. I'm not a jam person but they offer a good selection of jams.

They serve lovely fresh fruit smoothie and the freshly cooked pankakes with fresh berries and cream were delicious.
P.Butler's is our families traditional place to purchase summer berries and it still sell excellent fresh fruit.

Die Butlers Fruit Farm hat eine Menge an Beeren, Marmeladen, Sirupen und Chutneys zu bieten.
Besonders erwähnenswert war die sehr leckere Stachelbeer- Marmelade und das Chutney auf Stachelbeer-Basis.
Die Mitarbeiter im Verkauf und im angeschlossenen Café waren sehr freundlich und man konnte das eine oder andere auch vor dem Kauf auf Nachfrage hin auch probieren.
Hier sollte man ggf. überlegen ob man eine Vorab-Verkostung nicht noch forcierter anbieten und vorhalten sollte. Ich denke das wäre dem Verkauf sehr zuträglich.
Leider hatte eine etwas betagtere Mitarbeiterin nicht unbedingt das ideale Gespür für das Verhalten in der Gegenwart von Kunden - eine Mitarbeiter- Schulung sollte hier jedoch Abhilfe schaffen können.
Es sind eben einige Dinge zu beachten, wenn man im direkten Kundenkontakt erfolgreich sein möchte - es wäre schade, wenn dies am Verhalten Einzelner Mitarbeiter scheitern würde.
