Got the Taste of Europe lunch special with a Berlin Iced Coffee and bought some sourdough and sausages. Really nice food

Under new management now and doing great. Lunch was generous portions of hearty, tasty food. Lunch menu varies but is generally middle European/German. Check their facebook page for updates. We had schnitzel (best I have ever had) with potato salad and Czech sausage with mashed potato and onion gravy. We bought some smoked garlic sausages and the fresh Bratwürste from the deli counter and they were excellent.

Great cafe where Czechoslovakian/Bohemian traditional food meets German traditional food. Something different for Kiwis with great service and friendly staff. Strongly recommending Saturdays lunches where you can try their traditional food that you would normally not been able to.

Really cool cafe with german food. We had pretzels with a cheese platter, waffles, cheese cake and a cappuccino. Everything was really delicious and it tasted really like german food. The pretzels are the softer ones but really yummy. The owners and the staff were also very friendly. You can also buy different kind of sausages, cheese and imported food.

So happy to have found this place! Such a wee gem and the boys and girls working there loving it and you can tell. The atmosphere, the food, the experience- Fantastic!! Can’t wait to be back and we will!!

I love Cafe Berlin. I go there every time I visit Christchurch. My favourite is their meatballs in a small roll with mustard. If you like German-Euro food - go there!

Very simple food but quality ingredients for a simple sandwich. Great German small goods and a place for specific German food. Coffee drinkable, service excellent.

Nice coffee, friendly staff. A very small range of german groceries on offer. Unfortunately no Nimm 2! (That in itself would be worth 5 stars!) Lots of cheese, Wurst and cold meats. As a cafe, pretty ordinary. I would not go out of my way to visit again.

Good coffee, interesting things to buy, nice staff, but noticed server didn't take off gloves after handling meats in deli before making and serving coffee etc.

Awesome authentic German smallgoods (Wurst, Käse, Brezeln, Brot, Süßigkeiten, etc), not cheap but some of these things you can't buy anywhere else in Christchurch
