D.Good coffee. Had bacon and eggs - food was basic but tasted good (eggs were nicely cooked) and was excellent given the price ($7.90). Lots of parking.
M.A very nice breakfast here with great big tomatoes that have been lightly fried, but still firm. This was good because it combined with a not too busy environment. The shop is spacious with plenty of tables. Car parking is close by and the Edgeware shopping centre is there with all the other shops.
This is a place worth checking out. You should be able to get most things you need.

L.Clean interior and easy flow outdoor sittings. Not much food selection but the price and offering is good. Cookies and biscuits are all packed. Would have liked more if they weren't especially for sitting in. Not all does take away.
Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, I was waiting for about half an hour for my coffee as there was just one staff making coffee and I had to see all take away coffees going even the ones came after me when everyone even before me who were sitting in with numbers given were just sitting and waiting. I wasn't quite sure of the priority given to orders.
Great location and overall liked my experience, but if I am to wait that long again (although I'd like to think it'll be one time thing), I wouldn't go back.
C.Excellent value Farmers Breakfast, plenty on the plate. Good coffee and friendly staff. Good place to just sit and people watch too.

P.Eggs and a bacon $7.90. You can't go wrong. Good service. Alot of tables to choose from. Indoor and outdoor spaces. Made a really nice spiced chai latte and to my order, extra hot. Alot of cabinet and menu food and drinks to select from. Stop in on your way past or while doing the groceries next door. Thanks
H.New cafe to try. Obviously a bakery too judging by menu boards. By 3.45pm so sign of any bakery items and most cabinet food wrapped in cellophane/plastic. Friendly staff and okay food with good coffee. Keen to return earlier in a day to try baked items.
W.Pretty good. Staff friendly though not the fastest service. Food was okay and they do have specials so the value can be quite good to visit this place on a regular basis. Atmosphere is okay albeit a little sterile, but they have an American diner look with window seats, etc,
Only thing I can really pick on was I was not given any butter with my toast, but they were training a new staff member on my last visit and happily attended to me when I asked. Worth a try, but not for the Coffee though - try the food.
j.I'm giving it a 3 star because the coffee was good but the food was very disappointing. My panini looked tasty before they pressed it into an extremely hot nothing.. my friends freshly cooked meal looked unappetizing and he said it was ok but he agreed the coffee was good.

I always try to come here when I'm visiting the city.
I.The food was terrific and nothing seemed to be a problem for the staff. The coffee was a bit on the bitter side, but a little sugar fixed that. I had the chicken burger, which was smaller than I imagined, but it filled me up nicely. Great bread selection too!

D.First time visit there. It was very pleasant, you can sit inside where it is well set out and the tables not to close together or the stools in the window give you a good view of the village. Outside is a specific area with tables that is not on the footpath which is a plus. There was a very tasty food cabinet aswell as a menu and the coffee was wonderful.
C.We had 2 big breakfast's, eggs bene, custom omelette and hot cakes. Coffee was spot on and staff accommodated our meal variation requests without fuss. We left very content.

H.Beautiful Eggs Benedict with a Mocha. The food was well presented and very tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive on a very busy Sunday morning, they were quick to clear tables to allow others to be seated.

You kiss them for their enthusiasm, a grin on your face as you both leave the bed and quickly get ready to depart.
You head into Edgeware to that place your Mum said was really good, that place you've driven past and thought to yourself 'that looks like a good place' You make your way into Cafe Edge.
Cafe Edge is not cozy, it's hospital white with a big ceiling to floor window at the front with dreary individuals walking past looking at you and the fare you have in front of you. However there is the sanctuary of some good comfortable seating around the side on the way to the toilet.
What makes Cafe Edge worth the visit is the coffee and the food, particularly the food. It's really good with a bakery being part of the offer, you will have the opportunity to try a pie if that's what you feel like.
As a destination; it's not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal, moreso when looking at the gastro offer. Sadly not my typical destination which is a pity because it looks so inviting when you drive by. I'll happily go there again but it would be at the behest of that special person in bed with me.

K.Pleasant cafe in an area that badly needed something g like this. Good selection toon of food and drinks both from the cabinet and wall menu. A bonus is they sell a range of bakery goods and pastries. Also nicely placed on the Papanui cycleway. Good cycle parking provided.
