Overall: Good proper donuts at a good price. The actual dough component of these donuts has good flavour and texture - proper donuts, not like the kind of thing you would get at the supermarket. Combined with the fact that they are about 20% cheaper than other donut retailers makes this place a good choice. Definitely worth making a stop here. The actual donuts I got (the dough on all the donuts was light and fluffy but still had a good bite): 🍫Salted Caramel: had a nice smoky caramel flavour 🍒Cherry Bomb: general berry flavour, nice cherry kick to the gel on top 🌼Vanilla Glaze: classic (I did find it a little overly sweet) 🥨Cinnamon Twist: despite looking a little over cooked, the dough was still soft and fluffy. Nice cinnamon flavour, nice texture with the twists. 🪵Cinnamon Roll: the website says that it is topped with a swirl of cream cheese icing. Pretty sure the one I had just had plain icing. The cinnamon flavour wasn’t as strong as the cinnamon twist. The dough was a little denser too. 🍏Apple Fritter: on that day, this was probably the star of the show for me. Again, nice soft and fluffy dough but with enough body to compliment the small apple pieces dotted throughout. The apple flavour came through really nicely and was very fragrant. The moisture of the apple also help cut through the sweetness of the icing. This place would be amazing if it was plant based and had all natural flavours and colours (I didn’t ask, so I’m just presuming it isn’t) - pretty easy to make some plant based flavoured custards for your filled options 😉 (yes, I know it would be more work though!). Still, given the small premises and what looks like a small team, what they put out is great! Thanks for the tasty donuts! 👍👍👍

Ordered donuts for family wedding. They were absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like pictures on website. John was excellent to deal with and even changed the icing colour on some of them to match wedding colours. We made a donut tower. Highly recommended.

We came to this lovely hidden place in the weekend. There were a few selections in the cabinet. Good presentation and great taste. Donuts were soft and the fillings were creamy and delicious. Good friendly service at a really good price! We will surely be back again! Thank you :)

Absolutely delicious donuts the best Donuts I have ever had. Only thing is they are not open for that long maybe to 3pm or 3:30pm. And not open many days. But very nice people and as I said really good donuts I highly recommend

Try to go to get my mini donuts each week, across the road from Hornby High. The man there is awesome and friendly. I have not had to go to him at Riccarton Market, for many months to buy them. So convenient. No walking with being able to pull the car, right up to the door. 👍

Brilliant, traveled from woodend just to find my daughters favorite mini doughnuts. $11 for a bucket of 40. Bloke that runs it is great! Easy to find. Nice and clean!! If you can't make it to riccarton markets catch him here. Thanks!

It all looks and feels a bit dodgy.... but its a great place for some yummy donuts at a good price so don't let what the outside look like put you off. Get some of the glazed donuts.... but don't leave without getting the freshly made mini donuts.... ohhhhh soooo good

Fantastic doughnut! I stopped past with the wife and kids and was not disappointed! The Cinnamon twist doughnut I had was soooo good, soft and fresh. The wife who “wasn’t hungry” ate the chocolate doughnut that I wanted and that was awesome too apparently 🙄. I’m gutted I found the place as I pass through the area all the time and I am going to get so fat! Cant wait to go back 🤤
