A solid cafe for good coffee, great food and quick service. The cabinet is full of delicious looking morsels but my group ordered breakfast from the short but has everything you need menu. Meals came out in good time, even though it was getting quite busy and coffees were fired out in good time too. Parking is very limited here as the car park serves surrounding businesses so either get in early or be prepared to park on a nearby street and walk in.

Really Yummy food! Definitely more of an adult orientated place, chicken salad had heaps of sun dried tomatoes, olives and capers was really good. Nachos looked great as well, was stoked with my oreo milkshake. Lovely service will definitely be back!

Really yum corn fritters! I tried my friend’s creamy mushrooms and they were also delicious. Bit expensive but really good flavors and generous portions.

The BEST coffee. And the most amazing breakfast we have had for a while. Eggs Benedict on point 👌 and Hotcakes were devine. What a great atmosphere and place to hang out. We will be back!

We keep coming back here! Great service and delish food. We had the big dose breakfast and the vegetarian big breakfast - great portion size. Always a good coffee here and the cheese scones are amazing. We also came here for a work event and the team opened early for us to have the cafe to ourselves for half and hour - if that’s not great service I don’t know what is!

Dingy atmosphere but great food. The ambience was more of a late night restaurant rather than a cafe but the food was well thought out and executed. I had the avocado bruschetta , very filling and lovely combination of flavours , highly recommend. My family had the toastie and karage chicken which they both enjoyed.

First time here today with my family. The breakfast and eggs Benedict was excellent lovely coffee kids croissants were very nice. Lovely friendly and fast service so glad I've found this cafe. Will definitely go again well done :-)

Second time we have been back, love how the quality of the food stayed excellent both times we went, nothing worse than the standards of quality changing visit to visit as a restaurant. By far the best Eggs Benedict i have ever had.. and i have had my fair share of Eggs Benedict across the globe! For certain we will be back for more!

I found my way here by accident. Starving and trawling Blenheim road tile shops I was dying for coffee. I recognised the name from a cool cafe I used to go to in town so I thought I would try it out. So. Grateful. I. Did. They somehow manage to turn a dull office building into a funky underground industrial cafe brimming with atmosphere. The food is always as delicious as it looks and I am often tempted by their traditional but “dosed” menu offerings. I live on the other side of town, but come semi regularly, which is saying a lot because not much else draws me to Blenheim road. The staff are upbeat and friendly and always willing to help. Highly recommended.

Absolute gem. Tucked out of the way this little diner is fantastic. The welcome is friendly and professional. The menu although small is perfectly formed and tasty. A must do if your near or in the vicinity. You won't be disappointed.

Hip establishment which looks far better internally than I expected. The menu is great with lots of options & the coffee is great. The corn fritter stack was huge! The burger was tasty.

It is unclear when entering that one has to seat themselves. Upon entering there was only one visible staff member to approach. Ordered a coffee with the Big Dose Breakfast. The coffee was mediocre at best. I didn't enjoy it. I had to load it with sugar to make it more palatable. The breakfast was relatively tasty. It was filling and I enjoyed several of the items on the plate. While drinking from the water glass, I could smell something destinctly like raw egg... The menus need to be checked for dirt and stains. Some at my table were well used and dirty. There was also a piece of (what looked like) old candy in the box with the salt and pepper... I might come again for the food but certainly not for the coffee. The staff seem friendly enough.

Friendly staff, it was busy but we managed to get a table. Had the beef ribs, super tender and tasty. The sauce was a little bit salty for my liking but would definitely give this place another go. Coffee was good also. Its high quality restaurant food in a nice relaxed cafe atmosphere.

Excellent cafe. Doesnt amazing breakfast. I had the french toast, which came with bacon and vanilla ice cream, one of the best ive had. The burgers are also pretty amazing. Fast service and excellent coffees and smoothies. Only issue is that its not too well signposted so occasionally drive past while trying to get there.

A nifty little place in the heart of a business block. Parking isn't that wonderful as the spaces are reserved for the businesses around . Food was standard as what you would expect when paying $20 . I did the poached eggs on toast but unfortunately it was overdone so no juicy yolk oozing out. Ate it anyway, I was hungry.

Always enjoy Dose Diner. Had a delicious breakfast today. Coffee is always excellent and the milkshake was amazing. I would say the only comment I would make is when ordering and egg and toast for a toddler I was surprised that it came with a huge dressed salad and a spicy chutney, not really toddler friendly food.

Had breakfast with my family, the service was excellent & the staff went out of their way to make us welcome, even gave us a table upgrade! I had the Brioche French Toast, it was exquisite! The coffee was amazing & true to order - it's rare to get a proper flat white and theirs is the best I have ever had. Will definitely be back.

It was the first visit for both of us. My wife enjoyed her breakfast and I had porridge as there were no pancakes on the menu. It turned out to be a good choice. The porridge was of a great consistancy, had extra milk on the side and lots of different fruit. It was a huge bowl and I had to take it slowly to get it eaten but it remained hot to the end. Our cappuccinos we're perfect and came with a nice froth on the top which I really enjoy. Although the Cafe was busy this morning it was easy to hold a conversation. We will return

I really like this place for a fantastic breakfast from excellent staff in a great place. We quite often drive the 20 mins to this place as the eggs benedict on hash browns it amazing. The coffee is really good too. If it were closer to where we live we would go more often.

Decided what we wanted on the menu and then went to order but they didn't have it. sat down choose another dish. The food that we ordered was satisfactory for the $20 payed

The staff were fantastic, they made us feel very welcomed. The cabinet food was very attractive and tasty, especially the almond croissant. Our breakfast meals (mushrooms) were lovely and reasonably priced $18.50each. However, our table was right next two others with cm's to spare. We didn't feel very comfortable rubbing shoulders with strangers. Furthermore, It wasn't easy to have a private conversation - such a shame.

Very good coffee, flat whites and long blacks. Cheese scones excellent, they don't stint on the cheese, and my wife had smashed avocado, also very good.

Crazy busy on weekends! Which also means no parking. So I went during the week instead. Really cool atmosphere, nice seating (indoor and out) and I had a really great breakfast. I got the smashed avo which comes with an egg, it was a really good portion size and delicious.

Superb. My wife and I visited for a late breakfast, with no great expectations. She chose the smashed avocado, while I went for the French toast. Both meals were excellent, and certainly qualified as substantial brunches. The flat white coffee was also one of the best I've had in a while.

Im a regular as Dose always serve quality for costs. Great value for superb food.

Located on Blenheim road, next to the warehouse. Takes a U-turn if you are coming from the other direction. No signs outside, easily missed the entrance and had to go a full circle and U-turn again. Ample parking, customers are allowed to park at any spots that has 'pdp' on, but there's no signs saying so, you would've either knew about it or go in and ask about it to learn the trick of this parking lot. Good portion, reasonably priced, but too much sauce in the salad and burger, my meal was too salty and flooded with sauces, missing the taste and smell of the actual food.

Hands down, the "go to" place in Christchurch for coffee and the famous cheese scone heated with butter. The menu is designed for a variety of tastebuds and cooked very well. Parking can be an issue during busy periods so be sure to time it right if you are just after a quick takeaway coffee

30 people for breakfast. Well done, all came out together and got the right orders to the right people. Gosh well done. Hot fast and friendly. Parking was the only issue for us all.

One of my favourite cafe's in Christchurch. You have to try the peanut butter milkshake. Great breakfast food options until 3pm and very nice options for dinner.

There's a nice variety on the food menu and good coffees. It's in a super convenient spot for those that have reason to be at that mid-way point on Blenheim Rd as well.

Great food and prompt service. Your order is taken at the counter, i recommend the Karaage chicken, don't know what they do to it, but dang it's tasty. They also have wheel chair accessible toilets.
