I love this cafe so so much! Coffee is really good but what is the most amazing is their cakes of the day. I dare to say these are the best I've ever tried in Christchurch! Gluten free options and just so delicious. It's been my new favourite since I discovered it ❤️😍

Great cafe with outstanding owner and amazing staff, Sumner coffee institution, in the last 20 years only change is they move little bit further on Marriner Street. Highly recommended cafe, and Vittoria coffee is amazing.

Must be 15 years in, and Dot Com still has that little something special. A neighbourhood café that won't settle for poor quality coffee. Order anything from a flat white to a mochaccino and you'll be pleased with great foam or actual chocolate shavings. Breakfast offerings are familiar on purpose, serving generations of Summer locals the way they like it. A casual visitor won't be disappointed though, the cabinet food sets the tone with the best looking cakes this side of the causeway. Busy even during the week, you'll still safely find a seat - whether you're coding for work or taking a break after a ride. Go here for that special community feel that explains how a café outlasts earthquakes and recessions to still ensure you sign relief at a good coffee.

Nice for breakfast and an outside seating area. The staff were lovely and I would definitely go back. I also noticed afterwards that there were a number of gluten free pies in the chilled and this is the first time in two and a half months in NZ I have seen any. I also had a very nice mango smoothie.

One of the best hot chocolates I've ever had in Christchurch! Consistently and reliably great cabinet food. There's always at least several muffin types to choose from (if you get in fast enough!) and plenty of cakes and slices to drool over... Well technically you can't drool over them as they're behind a cabinet, but you catch my drift ;)

Great coffee/food and friendly staff. Its fairly small with an even smaller outside courtyard that gets the morning sun, so do make sure you get there early if you're expecting a seat. Its also very popular with cyclists during the weekends.

Have been going to dot com for over 16 years. Coffee, cabinet food and menu food has always been exceptionally good. I don't know how the Stuff review could be bad. Its popular with locals. Somethings not right here??

Mocha fine. Scroggin cake yummy. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. Friendly service. Be warned that there is a BIG mirror in front of the toilet. Despite this, I'd go back!

Great coffee and nice food selection. Good range of Gluten free if thats your thing. My brother said it was the best hot chocolate he had had in Christchurch. Conversation friendly and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Definately worth a visit after a beach walk. Toilets available.
