Went back to give Joe's another chance.
Service was excellent. Chips and gravy were very nice. Also had crispy chicken, chicken burger, hot chocolate and ice chocolate. Over all the food was nice. The drinks are on the small side for the price. The meals are, a ok size for the price. Will we go back? Nice place for a bit of finger food and catch up with mate's. But I would go somewhere else for a meal.
First review. First week of 2022. Talk about fast service. Stop in for some of their famous chips and gravy. The chips where out to the table very quickly unbelievably quickly. So quick we thought the chips must be for another table. They were only warm there must have been sitting around not freshly cooked. A little pot of gravy same size you get with a small order of chips. Very disappointing. Star is for the friendly service.
Just to top it off the table next to us got served a nice big plate of hot chips as we were leaving.
m.Excellent scones not light at all with coffee. Would love to have lunch. Recommend
J.Hubby & I had the Fried Chicken Burger with fries. It was yummy, the coleslaw on the burger gave it a nice spicy taste. We sat outside as it was perfect weather. The staff is so friendly and lovely.

R.The service was awesome and the food was delightful. We went their for my son's birthday and they made him a very special drink, one of their newer waitress named Georgia was so kind. I reccomend coming.
D.First impressions were great, friendly welcome at the door and served a coffee while I decided on food. The eggs were probably the best I've had in maybe ever, the potatoes and bacon were delicious and generous.

W.Great staff. I was never the sort of person to have a 'local'. But things change, we come here all of the time. They are so accommodating of people with dogs and are so lovely to Tui (our dog).

H.Came in and dined tonight 12/2/21, on arrival we were met by an attentive waiter, willing to help and showed us straight to a table for 6 people. He was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. He responded quickly 10/10. However our food and some of our drinks were brought with some attitude from the female staff member. She stood at one end of the table and delivered our food and drinks meaning we had hand each item to the correct place. Disappointing given the fantastic service we received earlier, we often dine and come in for coffee and get the genuine Joes experience, this was well below par.

G.Great price and quality - kids portions were large on 1st visit and half the size on the 2nd ?? Maybe some consistency required there. Our 2nd visit meant kids left a bit hungry and wanting. Or it would have been 5*'s.

A.Superb atmosphere, eat and soak up the relaxed feel of the chefs working. We had the Tiger Salad and The Local- a full breakfast. Smoothies were delicious!

S.I only had a take away ice coffee but was quite surprised that its $7 for a shot of espresso on a cup of ice in a standard coffee cup. Staff are friendly and provide good service so its possible that im just cheap!!! Not sure how much it is for a hot coffee with boiling water instead of ice.
K.I had lunch with my friend last week who needs a walking frame - the staff were just so helpful to make things easy to navigate around the restaurant. They just made things super easy for us both - really went the extra mile. Keep up the great work team.

G.Joe's Garage is a laid back, good atmosphere restaurant with a pleasant interior and a small outdoor area for sitting in the sun. The food is tasty and affordable and covers all tastes for adults and children alike. I enjoyed the Gorgeous George dish - smashed crispy spuds were lovely, their Caesar salad is also awesome. Members of our group also spoke highly of the burgers. They make good coffee and the staff are helpful and friendly. Great place to go anytime of the week. Have been mid week for lunch and on a Sunday for a late breakfast - both times were great. Would recommend.

R.The place was not very busy, so staff were just leaning on the bar and chatting. Music was a little loud for a restaurant/bar. Music volume would be fine in a full bar environment. Wife and I had chicken burgers with fries. Both were a little dry and smaller than I would like for the price. For a themed restaurant/bar it worked, but for menu items they were a little pricey for what was received.

They were very busy when we got there, but the order was served quickly, and staff managed to get through their workload without appearing harassed.We had burgers and chips followed by scones and mint chocolate slice... yummy!

S.Great food! Had the Bacon, banana picklets with maple syrup for lunch which was amazing! Staff are very friendly and check-in regularly. Coffee came out at the perfect temperature to drink straight away. We were seated straight away although it was very busy so you may want to make a reservation during peak times.

T.At Joe's Garage Wigram. Disapointed. I don't eat whipped cream, they will not let me substitute ice cream for the whipped cream. The Good Home across the other side of the court yard does hence we will go back there next time. I complained to the waiter and he organized the desert as I wanted it hence back to 5 stars
E.This is probably one of my favourite places to get a feed. They have affordable meals, Great Staff and its always a fun time. Theres never annoying kids there so you can enjoy your meal and they actually clean the toilets in like some other joes garages. They have a great range of things to order and they always have sports playing. Great place to go!

V.Chips are so good! It's a nice place. Just always so noisy, they should play nice quiet classical music sometimes to try and make people calm down haha. But really nice place to go. Staff are always friendly too.

A.Well what can I say !!!. I took my nearly 3 year old (restless ) granddaughter to brunch there last weekend and we sat at the bar watching the chefs. They were so so lovely to us both but really fantastic to her. She was amazingly quiet and watchful and at the end of our visit she was presented with one of their caps for being such a good girl. She wouldn't have been so good if they had not helped make her experience so much fun. Thankyou once again and we will be back for sure. And the food is fantastic. Annie.
B.Super busy on a Saturday but that is to be expected, takeaway coffee was ok. Cheese scones were nice!
N.What can I say. Great friendly staff (I cant say that enough). Good atmosphere. My only complaint would be the lack of pork on my pork belly. My flat bread starter was devine and my rubarb crumble dessert was perfect. But again...... The staff were awesome.

L.A lunch worth traveling for. Last minute decision to eat out took us to wigram Joe's garage. My order of scrambled eggs on toasted ciabatta with hollandaise sauce on the side was huge. The eggs cooked perfectly to my liking. No dry over cooked offerings here. I chose to add bacon rashers altho spinich and salmon were also on offer. Prompt service clean, environment and if I had one complaint it would be the music was a little to loud making conversation difficult at times. Still worth a visit

S.I met up with a friend for brunch. This is the place to go in Wigram for eggs any way you like them. They make a mean coffee; the baristas are on to it. Try the chicken sandwich, great value for money and it tastes amazing.
