Great value for money, this cup of real fruit 🍦 was $3.50.. So yummy on a hot day! Think it was 3 scoops, nice seating area with stunning views. Definately need to stop here on your way to or from Hanmer 10/10 🌟's. Thanks guys 😊

After a lovely motorcycle ride from Christchurch on a sunny 11deg. day, arrived at the cafe ready for coffee. Met by a very personable young lady who sorted me out with a toasted sandwich and cappuccino. Very tidy and clean, even toys for the kids. As an afterthought, the toilets are spotless!

This may have been the worst coffee I have ever had. Undrinkable. The pie however was very tasty and the sandwich fresh and also good. The lady was very cute and brought my food etc outside to me on my motorbike. Hilarious. Nice people, good food, dunno about the coffee....

Friendly woman in there. Nice little tea room area. But Fish and chips need improving. the batter could have been done a lot better, it was hardly cooked, it was like it was very rushed

Food and coffee was nice, more tables are definitely needed. "Bar" stools for the breakfast bar are far too short making it uncomfortable to eat or drink from. Wait for food was ok, but 25 mins for coffee is bad regardless of numbers in the cafe, had 5 minutes to drink coffee otherwise I'd have missed the return train.

Surprisingly excellent little gift store. Great buyer and very good prices. Very good coffee. Food very basic tearoom food but good. Very well priced. Little car park next door and nice seating areas. Clean toilets. Nice staff.

I asked for a cheese sandwich, expecting it to be left in its plastic box. Instead I got it served as an entrée with a salad of carrot, peppers and rocket with dressing. Top marks, Pam!

Good food, low prices, friendly people. There's also a gift shop with kitschy little knickknacks and some women's jewelry and clothes. Prices on those seemed low as well.
