Park Ranger's nature-themed decor and cute name caught my eye when I first arrived in Christchurch. Somehow the cafe managed to SURPASS my very high expectations. Mushroom toast was the best meal I have had in ages! I can't wait to come back and try some coffee. Thank you Park Ranger! (Extra bonus: the music selection is pretty awesome.)

My favorite cafe so far. All the cabinet food are looking fresh and many to choose from. Love the friendly good looking staff! Wish they had outside area/courtyard(that’s the only reason for giving 4stars instead of 5)

I went here twice between Christmas and New Year whilst visiting Christchurch. It was my favourite place. Between us we had the Healing Bowl, Avocado Toast, Coconut Milk Chai and a Bounty Bar. I’d recommend them all! The Chai was lovely and creamy. Lots of avocado on the toast and the Healing Bowl a bigger meal or enough for 2. The atmosphere is relaxed and I liked the option of still or sparkling water from the tap. Couldn’t recommend it more.

We visited this place both for breakfast and for lunch and it was all amazing. So many good things to choose from, it was hard to decide. Really good coffee accompanied by a blueberry bran muffin that was to die for. Lunch options included what I assume is the Kiwi version of chili served with tortilla chips and guacamole. Muesli bar and a chocolate caramel torte were fantastic

Really appreciated the selection of gluten free for my borderline coeliac mother. They were clearly labelled( hate having to ask) and both gf Peanut slab and gf orange cake were winners with non GF family members. Thank you for making delicious alternative food that can be enjoyed by regular people too.

This place is a gem! The food, drinks and service is great. Food portions were beautifully presented, in large enough portions based on the price and tasted great. I was also more than happy with the espresso drinks served there. They kept me nice and 'wired' through the day.

Used to be a great cafe but attention to detail is really lacking these days. The place is dirty and scruffy, sugar bowls not refreshed, glasses not very clean. Food presentation has really dropped (obviously different chefs). Unfortunately typical when a successful cafe opens a second operation, the original so often drops it's game. Disappointing.

Very noisy. Good range of food. Salted caramel was uneatable due to too much salt in icing. Neither of us could eat it Burned mouth on biting into it. Left it but had to order more food to get rid of taste in mouth.

Went for breakfast with workmates...it was just the right amount of cosy warm in there. The food was simply fab! I had the most yummy granola...kind of deconstructed, which I smooshed all together for a crispy, nutty, yogurty bowl of yum!! Staff were all lovely too.

Edgy cafe with a variety of milk options for pairing with your Espresso. Same is true for the menu - variety rules. Highly recommend, but it's a tad crowded and the roadworks make access challenging.

Nice place to have an early breakfast or a quick tea. The smoothies are good and the food is fresh with the choice of V, G, or GF for those with special diet requirements. The only thing missing is a free WiFi acess but you can always catch the City of Christchurch WiFi for free. 😁

Small shop that doesn’t have much room to sit. If you are after something more intimate and personal, probably not your best option on a Saturday afternoon. However their food and drinks options are superb albeit a little pricey.

Always humble, always polite. None of the usual extra you get from people who work in high profile hospo. Food is always fire and today I picked up an awesome veggo foccacia. Food is a good balance of old favourites done exceptionally and fresh healthy innovative stuff. Coffee doesn't need any commentary its always finely tuned.
