We came here after finding out that the Portershed doesn’t check vaccine passes and only does takeaway... (I prefer my brekkie without a side of covid) and wow, we should have come here first in the first place! Absolutely amazing coffee, really interesting and different menu, lovely and friendly staff, cool vibes with fun music and funky decor. Highly recommend, thanks for the awesome brunch ✌🏼

Just an outright brilliant little place. Super friendly, amazing coffee (few places bother to make an iced filter coffee good but they make it delicious) great specials and all round great food. Scrambled eggs were perfect, like just the right amount of buttery and even the soup special (and I generally dont much care for soup) was brilliant. It's nearly impossible not to get a cheese scone, they are just right and provide the perfect amount of salted butter to go on them. My photo only has half the bottom of a scone because I couldnt help but eat it immediately. A+ would recommend and am looking forward to trying more things.

The flavours in the meals I've tried have been impeccable. I feel like the chef would be highly sought after. The ingredients they use appear to be consciously sourced and they don't charge high prices for it. Will keep coming for sure 💛

One of my favourite places in Otautahi/Christchurch - the food is always excellent, the menu is interesting and varied - something for everyone at every moment - and the vibe is always nice, especially the court yard on a fine day! The coffee is delicious, and the service is always friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a cafe run by great people who are passionate about excellent food and hospitality, look no further! These guys are the best. Don't forget to take home one of their excellent sauces and a cookie for the road.

Delicious! The espresso is so nice and full. There was a cinnamon scroll with orange icing on this plate but it disappeared SO quickly 😅 Sooo soft it melts in your mouth!

The best coffee, fast, efficient and cheerful service and really excellent food. The food is that rare thing: imaginative. Very tasty, carefully thought out and a yummy mix of flavours. And well priced. Slightly spoilt by being served in a basket with a paper liner, which made it hard to cut!

Gorgeous menu showcasing seasonal produce and general deliciousness. The coffee is always good. I enjoyed the omelette which was courgette, parsley and whipped feta last week. Friendly service and a nice quietly buzzing vibe. Nice place for takeaways or dining in. I look forward to going back.

South Town Club is phenomenal. Dan, the owner, is a champion and you can tell he puts his heart and soul into this place. The staff are all lovely, the food is incredible, and the coffee is the best in town. South Town Club feels like a community hub and I can't recommend it enough.

Very nice place to visit for breakfaststaff is very polite and especially like the cinnamon rolls that were big locally in the place this morning. Coffee is was also very good but the fried eggs are not recommended, you must try cinnamon roles. Staff is also very energetic.

Arrived to a cheerful smile from staff and clientele. Free water avaliable. Only went in for a coffee but the cheese scones caught it eye. Coffee and scone arrived at a good temperature and very nice. Clean coffee shop with a bright ambiance and sun streaming in but cut by blinds. Availability products to buy in good view.

I've always loved Coffee Supreme's single origin coffees and aesthetic, and Supreme Supreme didn't disappoint on those fronts. Service was delightful and food (especially scrambled eggs) was awesome. The biggest issue we had, as travellers, was that there was no WiFi - I think a little connectivity would have made things a lot easier, it didn't need to have been an excessive bandwidth or amount, just enough to get on maps would have been nice, or do what some other cafes do - set a limited number of connections.

Been here several times for Breakfast and loved it. Today whilst visiting Christchurch, tried South Town Club for lunch. We had the "purple kumara hummus, zhug, midnight baker freedom loaf, olive oil", and the "turmeric flatbreads filled with curried chickpeas, sesame pickled cucumbers, mango chutney, coriander, toasted coconut". Both as a shared plate with a coffee. Great taste and texture, the service was friendly and timely, a most enjoyable lunch, we will back. 5 Stars

Bloody great corned beef hash (though really it was more like unsalted salt beef, or slow-cooked brisket) and amazing scrambled eggs. Big portions on both. Really nice hot sauce too. Long black was good, but not spectacular (given they pride themselves on coffee), but was assured by compatriot that filter coffee was excellent. Lovely menu and interiors design.

After reading other reviews I can only assume we were served by Dan the owner on Sunday - he was friendly, enthusiastic and gave us some good tips as to what he’d recommend off the menu. The food and coffee was amongst the best of its type (informal, light brunch meals) I’ve found in Christchurch so far. To top it off it was great to be able to sit outside with our dog in the glorious Canterbury sunshine while we enjoyed our brunch. Can’t wait to come back.

Just absolutely enjoying this STC hot sauce, shame it doesn't come by the litre I used a third of a bottle in one go! With just enough spice to make your lips tingle but not hot enough to have to put your toilet paper in the freezer, well done! I think you've found yourself a forever customer!

This is my favourite brunch spot when I visit Christchurch. Coffee there is always excellent but the menu is why I really go. I never ever shy away from a good ole hash; Supreme Supreme’s corned beef hash ranked among the best. Almost had to give 4 stars because THE HASH IS NO LONGER ON THE MENU 😠. Fortunately the mince on toast more than makes up for it. Classic.

It’s hard to go past Supreme coffee. Especially when perfectly brewed with great food alongside. The staff were friendly and helpful, answered all my questions about the different blends they offered. I’ll be ordering here again

5 star service but went there to check out if the donuts are as good as reviewed on stuff.co.nz. Was extremely disappointed with the undercooked, bread and jam style donut, which was the only available flavor. My friend had mac n cheese which was a good size portion, crunchy top (amazing) but a bit too cheesy for my liking (and I love cheese). A little bit of spice would have been awesome. We made do with pepper. Awesome staff - accommodating, friendly, no-fuss when complained about the donut and entertaining :-)

I love visiting Supreme for a cuppa or bite to eat. The food is always prepared well and they excell at doing simple food well. A big credit for their chefs in the kitchen. The staff are very knowledgeable and provided things aren't too hectic always willing to talk shop on brew methods, beans and other coffee topics. I've got them to thank for the ever growing pile of machines, brewers, filters and grinders on my bench! Wednesday is bean day when the fresh batches arrive from the roasters which is prime time to get in and try something new. My fellow coffee lovers at work who make the trip each week. Haven't quite decided if it's best fresh of after letting the sit for a week after roasting. Guess we'll have to keep experimenting!

Went here on a Saturday morning for brunch. It was quite busy but there was a table available for two straight away. Was mildly annoyed at how long it took the wait staff to take our order after giving us the menu, the original guy waiting our table was mucking around so another person came and took our drinks orders after waiting for 15mins, we were ready to order our food then too but she only took a drinks order. Eventually after about 20mins the original guy waiting our table took our food order. The food was nicely presented but nothing special. Not sure if I would return again due to the frustratingly long wait and average food.

Great cafe. Christchurch has plenty of them but this is the one we go to more often. It's probably not everyone's cup of tea but we love the Indy cool / industrial vibe and that it isn't over run by big groups. It's kid friendly and staff are very good.
