Very happy a frappacino lover now, so good. Only tried after the recommendation of the lovely red haired girl, Laura I think, Good on you!-much better than a hot coffee from Muffin Break. Will be back

The staff are very friendly, make drinks fast and always get our order correct and they taste great. The store is usually a bit dirty though hence 4 stars instead of 5 but as we only get our drinks to go because they get pretty busy it doesn't bother us much.

Popped into Starbucks to try out the coffee. The coffee was great with a rich deep coffee flavour. Located at the entrance to the Riccarton Mall it is conveniently located to access on foot. After 9am opening time you may have to park in the Mall car park as the street will be full. This is a great coffee shop particularly good for those who want to stop and go.

Drinks were great service wasnt so great Barista didnt even tell us where contactless pickup was or that the app was needed to order online instead of via website like you use to be able to do I understand that if you dont have a vaccine pass that service wont be as usual but some friendly clear instructions on how and where to order and collect on both entrances would make a huge difference, so would staff simply saying " you need to order and pay via the app and our contactless pick up station is over there"

Was 1st time having a Starbucks in NZ... Delicious ham croissant and a large latte.. Yum!...Great service and friendly staff.. One critique is the ventilation grills need a good clean, especially when we are all more sensitive to public viral nuisance these days...

Awesome service as they accidentally put coffee in our frappes and when we went back they handled it so well and with no fuss

Amazing customer service and amazing drink. Would highly recommend the double chocolate chip frap. 10/10 delish.

Best chai latte I’ve had in a while and nice atmosphere. But we Noticed we were the only people in the shop with mugs rather than takeaway cups and the cafe was full. Very sad to see the amount of waste Starbucks produces that could be avoided if they gave people the option to ‘have here’

Just a Starbucks like others. Here in Christchurch I reckon you can find better Coffee Culture rather than Starbucks. But coffe is not good in both, so....

It's a hit-or-miss whether they make my order correctly or whether they have the patience to listen. But the last time I went was great.

Starbucks is my thing! I mean it's like my drug and the cups I def need to stop bying them but they're always so awesome! It's like Pokemon 😂 anyways the staff is good...coffee is good and of course it's in the mall so total score all round!

I have been to Starbucks on a few occasions over the years in Auckland, Nelson and Christchurch. Christchurch has very quick service for a neverending cue during busy times. The drinks never seem to disappoint me. I'm not so keen on the paper straws though, they dont seem to last the distance and alter the taste of the drink.

Starbucks is my favourite coffee, this however may be the dirtiest coffee shop in Christchurch. There is a very think layer of dust on everything above head height, but it is now even on the walls and the cords of the debit machines. I have been looking at this for the last 2 years of coming here. Hopefully one day it will get cleaned. I am at the point where I had to put this into a review. The coffee is great though.

They are very overpriced but besides that I love their drinks but some times they can be a bit too strong

The drinks were really nice - not so keen on the disposable coffee cups and plastic lids. Next time I will bring a reusable cup. The tables were not very tidy either and we had to clear one to another table so we had somewhere to sit. Staff that served us were very friendly and the drinks were made quickly which was great.

I mean, it's the last Starbucks left. Where else can you go now to get an iced chocolate frappuccino? Nowhere that's where. Wish they had the blood orange slushy sort of drinks I had at Starbucks in scotland and Prague, but all in all pretty solid

Miss my Starbucks from NY and US, so it's nice to get a great coffee that reminds me of my time there. They also have huge cups ☺️. Very nice staff too!!

Ordered two filter/brewed coffees and waited for about 10 minutes until they were ready. They both then tasted like hot water with milk. Once a new batch of coffee was made, and replaced our original coffees, they tasted much better.

I'm a touch bias since I used to work for the company, but one of my favourite things about Starbucks is the consistent flavour and quality, no matter where you are in the world, you'll get the same. The staff are incredibly friendly, and it's easy to reach being situated in the mall. Would probably benefit from a layout remodel as during their busy times, it can get quite cramped waiting for your beverage. They have a fun range of drinks, and edibles, and some cool merchandise too!

Sorry it's not as good as it once was. Very very busy probably not staffs fault frappuccino was not mixed in long enough.... but would still visit hot chocolate is really yummy

The "made without gluten" food isnt on a seperate plate in the cabinet. Otherwise it does ok considering the amount of people it serves.

Great little cafe, I love starbucks always have something different for each season or celebration!. Cleanliness could be improved.

Flat out had to line up out the door, reasonable prices, and staff worked well to get orders out quickly, products are well presented and cater for non coffee buffs too. Frappuccino was yum, I'll be back again soon for my next fix..

The best drinks and snacks for sure and great staff but the only thing that caught me off gaurd is the cleanliness the forks were it washed properly and tables were sticky and no wiped and the floor had been littered just dirty and sticky tbh but everything else was good the staff were lovely and hardworking. But I wish it was a little cleaner

Amazing coffee and such lovely staff. They engaged in conversation and even made a few jokes. My cup even had a smile drawn on it. I love coming in for a well made professional coffee.

Went to Starbucks last night and the service was fantastic! I ordered a drink and went back to get a food item in a separate order but the cashier at the till gave me the discount even though I ordered separately and I hadn't even asked for it. That's really great service!

Extremely busy as it’s the only one in Christchurch (that I know of) I think there should be a bigger area to wait/eat and drink as it’s very crowded 24/7. Staff were friendly-ish, I felt like they just wanted to get through everyone and weren’t really thinking about what they were doing.

Oh the Pumpkin spiced latte was lovely!!! However the floors could do with a little clean up.

Great for coffee flavoured milkshakes. If you want a real coffee I'd recommend a real cafe but Starbucks is still a nice atmosphere hence I'd give it 3 stars

Typical international Starbucks with some local flavours. It seems Starbucks serves tourists mostly in NZ. For local coffee it's better to go to some local cafe

We always get AMAZING service from Laura when we come to starbucks riccarton, she is super lovely and lets me order cold brew in a mug to avoid plastic. Thanks Laura!

Coffee they make is OK but it's nothing to write home about. Some of the items on the menu are really good but most are average and some are even below that.

Very busy store when I was there.got my coffee perfect as usual.not to long to wait.only just got the last seat .

Ice coffee place to go. You'd have to drink fast though, because once the ice is melted into the coffee it than taste just like milk powder with water.

not the best starbucks ive been to but still pretty good coffee, on one occasion one of the workers ran into me on her way out of the shop and knocked my phone to the ground and just kept going didnt stop to check if i was okay so that wasnt very good

I suppose there's a reason it became such a massive chain, the drink was fantastic, the staff are always angry though. Suppose you can't blame them.

i LOVE Starbucks the only problem i have with this store is its so small, i had to push past people to get out. and its hard when im in a rush and the line is all the way out the door.
