Had to send back my steak sandwich as the bread was so hard I couldn't put my knife through it. Generally always very good but not this day. Iced coffee was great, service outstanding

Wouldn't say it was amazing. The gentleman on the counter was a bit blunt to be served by and I certainly didn't want to ask too many questions as the few I did ask were bluntly responded to. The atmosphere was what I expected and the mocha was very nice as was the orange and almond cake.

Very friendly staff, short waiting time for our food the chips were cooked perfectly we had John dory tacos but unfortunately I don’t think it was John dory it wasn’t a very nice tasting fish at all , coffee was great. One of the wait staff , went outside picked up the dog and cuddled it and then went back inside I was wondering whether she washed her hands, she went towards the kitchen area and came back with a drink which she gave to the person with the dog, I don’t think there was enough time for her to have washed her hands

The giant pancake with mascarpone and mango compote was too good. Perfect to be shared between two.Service was fast and friendly. Our table of 6 early in the morning received their meals timely. The place was kept neat clean and tidy.

A very convenient cafe shop when you have plan to travel via plane and want to kill time before departure. Within 10 minutes walking distance from the airport, you will get there. They have a wide range of food selections and coffee options of course. But I was not completely satisfied with their customer service with impatient staff even when it was not that busy.

My favourite Coffee Club and favourite place to treat myself to lunch, also a good place to catch up with friends etc. Always very busy and can get quite noisy, but can still sit for as long as you want without ever feeling hurried to leave. Best eggs bene with salmon 😋

Handy to the airport, a good menu (I recommend the salmon avocado stack), well made coffee, and appropriately priced. Did observe a staff member deliver a hot drink to table steadying the glass on saucer with her thumbs on the glass rim but as it wasn't mine... For the record, this was not the "Trainee"; she was awesome.

We ordered the big breakfast and it was very average. The steak was inedible...I couldn't even cut it, the bacon was chewy, the sausage tasted a bit odd and the coffee was burned. The poached eggs were ok though and the toast was really nice. Definately the highlight on the plate. The place did have a nice ambience, the toilets were clean and we appreciated the good wifi. Service was efficient.

This is the perfect spot to meet up when waiting for airport departures or arrivals. We just had drinks but they were all tasty, fast and the service was excellent. Going to make it a regular stop.

The Coffee Club is located in the departure area of Christchurch International Airport. We stopped by prior to our recent outbound flight back home. This is one of the only places for a drink or bite to eat in the restricted departure area for international flights. On the occasion we had a chocolate brownie, ginger crunch bar and long black coffees. Prices were a bit higher than what we found in the city, nothing unusual when it comes to airports. Brownie was smooth, slightly moist, not too sweet. The ginger crunch was similarly decent. Coffees were made fairly well, ordered small, the espresso taste was a bit more bold, stronger and generally enjoyed. Overall, everything was fine, what we expected.

Great service. Great atmosphere. Great presentation of food. Not very many lunch options in the cabinet though, mostly just sweets. Lunch options on the menu are starting around $19.50 which is a bit pricy. Other than that, I'd go back for the iced coffee (with a shot of vanilla)!

Had a smoothie that tasted good and felt good, and a calamari main that was a decent serve size for the $20 price. This coffee club perhaps lacks a strong individual atmosphere that can help make a cafe great, but the quality is consistent, so it's a good stop if that's what you're after.

Have had better coffee but it's definitely ok. Been there twice. First time it took quite a while until I got my cappuccino. It was Sunday and busy though. Second time it came within a few minutes. Staff was friendly at all times. I didn't taste the food.

I occasionally go to the Coffee Club at Spitfire Square but never experienced what I did today. There were few clean tables & no matter where we sat, we were cold as, esp for our elderly parents. Fortunately, I did ask the head server to increase the temperature which he did immediately. My brother got a coffee in a dirty cup which they replace. They did bring my bfst out first, which was great. I'll go back cos i know they CAN do better.

Great location near the airport, however i had higher expectations after visiting other coffee clubs. Very small amount of hollandaise on the eggs benedict, and the side of chips consisted of a dozen or so lukewarm chips

Not a bad a feed (big breakfast). A spoonful of baked beans would've made it look more like a breakfast otherwise I'd be calling it a mixed grill. No Paywave is a let down...especially for a coffee on the run.

Awesome Food and Awesome Service from the staff at Spitfire Square. I had the Breakfast Brushetta which was absolutely divine. The menu is fantastic - a large variety of meals to choose from, from breakfast/brunch to lunch/dinner meals. My son is a Vegan and I was so impressed with the wonderful Vegan choices. Not many places in Christchurch cater for Vegans, so that was wonderful to see and greatly appreciated. It was busy so reservations recommended on the weekend. Our reserved table was hijacked by other diners but the staff were very apologetic and went out of their way to get us seated elsewhere after we declined their offer to have the people at our table moved. I can't ask for better service than that. Perhaps allocate reserved tables a number and telling the customers their table number upon booking so they can be sure they are seated at the correct table would help resolve this problem in future. Thank You for the great dining experience. Highly Recommended!

Great hot chocolate. Only complaint there was no baby changeable last time I went (didn't need it this time) so unsure if this is in yet. Hope so to cater for families with young kids. Great service. Good location when farewelling friends/family to the airport .

Could do with another staff member later in the day. Not as much in the cabinets as i was hoping for. If you have more stock and it looks inviting ,the people will come. If not alot of stock people remember this and wont return. Coffee was good though.

Rest rooms not very clean.... Too many sounds of plates being collected, music too loud, owner sat watching rather than doing the Hospitality Dance ie. Checking customers needs and ensuring crockery and plates were removed from tables. Staff were great...very friendly and clean and prompt wuth food delivery.
