R. F. (.A hidden gem in Clyde, definitely one of the must-go cafes in New Zealand.
The building used to be a bank, you wouldn’t realise it was an amazing local cafe behind the closed door. The owner kept a part of the history as decorations, like the phone, door and BNZ sign, really appreciated.
We had a pork belly bun and cottage pie as bunch. The pork belly was incredibly delicious, with the blue cheese and chutney a prefect match.
The pie was hot and rich in favour, it was absolutely a splendid choice in a cold morning.
There was a small grocery corner selling local produces, the homemade sauce and chutney were really good.
Highly recommend!
J.I have long been a fan of the The Old Clyde Bank for breakfast / lunch and a great coffee with outstanding service. Had dinner there recently to enjoy this new offering and was blown away. Fine dining in an intimate setting comparable to anything in Central Otago or the Lakes District!

L. C.If there were an option to give 10 stars, I would. The staff are amazing, coffee during the day is fantastic and dinner at night was one of the best meals we have ever had. I highly recommend the old bank to anyone in Clyde. It won’t disappoint you
