R.Wonderful and welcoming location to grab a drink hot or cold. Had a bacon 🥓 buttie, it was very tasty. Been there before and will be back again to enjoy this unique experience.
B.Coffee was really nice. It was served in a disposable cup as I didn't take my coffee cup on the 42km bike ride!
I asked for no lid to save even more waste, but was still served with a lid. Would maybe make more sense (less waste and less cost for the cafe) to serve drinks without a lid, as everyone was sitting down to finish their drinks before riding up the hill or back towards Cromwell. Explaining you're saving the waste from landfill should be enough to stop the inevitable complaints from riders 😄 If they can ride all the way there they should be able to finish their drink without a lid
D.Perfect spot for a stop before tackling a Lake Dunstan switchback. Super pleased they park up just for those on the trail. Welcome sight on a magical ride!

A.lovely staff, nice food and drinks. it's a cafe with a view. I thought it was a fair price for lunch considering where it is, one of the most scenic, iconic places in nz.

M.Absolutely loved it they're placed just in the right place on lake Dunstan cycle trail coffee and food was tops ,burgers, cheese scones,bacon and cheese butties,and staff we really warm and friendly while working under pressure.

D.A most refreshing cold drink half way thru the Lake Dunstan cycle trail. Somewhat of Hobson's choice, but have to say they were very friendly and happy to see us. Might be an idea for them to erect a sun sail over the seating area sometime before next summer.

R.Great coffee in the middle of nowhere on an epic cycle trail, how could it get any better? Check out the food boat too!
R.Thank you to the lovely staff, especially the lady I spoke to quite a few times over the phone. My young son wasnt quite up to the ride to make it all the way to the boat on what was apparently 'the worst day if his life'.
He did actually have a nice ride and admitted it was beautiful, but was very tired. We didnt make the destination (coffee afloat) but the lady patiently gave me directions over the phone a couple of times, she never spoke to me like i was as silly as i felt, as I didnt know where we were going (or even exactly where we were!). She even called us to check progress as we hadnt arrived when expected and offered many amazing ice cream options for disappointed son when i said we still had 6 kms to go and wernt going to make it in time !
Sin, who has now fully recovered and says he'd like to try again in a few years when 'he's older'.
Thank you lovely staff. We'll wave to you from the road, across the Dunstan on our way home today and look forward to an ice cream in a few years with you!

K.Midway on the Lake Dunstan new bike trail, so around 20km mark, you come across two lovely ladies in a boat, afloat, serving coffee and offering muffins etc. Marvellous!! Some might argue lifesaving. Auckland prices. And, fortunately they have committed to serve Aucklanders!! No prejudices
