Reviews of Blah Blah Blah Cafe & Bar
S.Upon reading other reviews here, we decided whilst visiting Dargaville, to check out the Blah Blah Blah cafe (arousing fond memories of the show Arrested Development also!). We ventured across the road after easy parking (with trailer to boot), to be welcomed at the door and straight to a window table that allowed views through to the Kitchen and further dining out in the back courtyard. The ambiance is casual and clean and the service was fantastic. The staff are friendly and at ease with help needed to access any information about the food. There is many choices to suit all tastes and my fish of the day was a pleasure. Just the right amount for lunch and the chef's touches were noticeable as the colours surrounding the fish were a delight for palette and the eye. T'other thought the brisket was a mouthwatering experience of which his appreciation of a well cooked piece surprised him due to past experiences elsewhere. He felt the chef had done a lovely job of a well presented ,well cooked and enjoyable lunch, also the right amount for lunch. There is a good selection of drinks and in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience. To top it off we enjoyed muffins the next morning freshly cooked daily and flavorsome. We will return when next in town . We will recommend it to anyone asking for advice. Very good lunch we enjoyed immensely. Thanks guys at Blah Blah Blah. We will be back!
J.Stopped in as we passed through and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was stacked with toppings and the sauce base was tasty. The BLAT sandwich was filling and the bread wasn't toasted too solid which was nice. I love that they sell the art they hang too. Coffee and service was lovely as well.
D.Nice little cafe. Located on the main road. Probably one of the best two cafes in Dargaville if not the best. Staff are friendly and quick in getting your order ready.

D.Enjoyed a really tasty homemade pizza. Half pepperoni and half shrimp 🦐 Good coffee and hot chocs and a pleasant Scottish waiter to serve us.
R.Had kumera, bacon and mussel chowder for lunch. Wife had a BLAT. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. Service was very good and mocha and cappuccino were excellent. Recommend great place for lunch.

B.Very good food, lovely staff and good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Would have liked one of their fab sounding cocktails but lunchtime a bit early for me. 🤔
S.It's quite a wait but it's worth it. I had them turn the bacons and eggs to mushrooms and eggs and it was really delicious!!! The mushrooms were nicely sautéed and the sunny-side-up eggs were not runny. My friends had The Works and it was a lot, they shared it. Highly recommended!!! Definitely will come here if we are ever in Dargaville again.
C.Tasty and healthy fare served well. The quiche, and its crust were fantastic. There is a nice local wine selection, and pared nicely with any meal (3×) we had there. A nice place for lunch on the way to many beautiful sites to see.
