S.Nice little cafe/eatery.
Good coffee and a nice selection on on site made food to please everyone. The staff are good to deal with too. Definitely worth a visit even if it's for a takeaway coffee.
B.Great selection of cakes, especially the amount that are gluten-free. Drinks were good, not overly sweetened. The outdoor area at the back is a little crowded - the tables are a bit too big for the space & leaves little room to move the chairs, which may be an accessibility issue for some people. But the space is sheltered and relaxing - especially with the Tui song from the hill behind and occasional bird coming to visit.
R.Me and my partner stayed the night in Brighton and grabbed some takeaways on our way out. We have travelled around the whole country of nz and Brighton Beach Cafe have the best iced chocolate by far! Definitely a 10/10. I also got a oat mocha and as a barista myself, just wow!

A.Wonderful place. We ordered salmon bagels and coffees. Everything was delicious & fresh. There is a garden outside where the children can play. You can enjoy a tasty brunch.
i.Great awesome food. 10/10 would go again. Very nice outside area. However it gets a bit cramped when busy and raining.
d.As a vegetarian I usually find it difficult to get decent breakfast. This cafe had awesome options for vegetarians. It even had "vegetarian breakfast" which was served with vegetarian sausage. It was delicious!! 😍

Ç.I would recommend this place without any hesitation. The staff are very friendly and know how to make a very nice cup of coffee. I sat outside and was delighted with the many options of seating. The cafe has seating out front, inside and out back.
I am now eagerly waiting for the warmer weather so I can complement my Taieri mouth fishing excursions with a flat white!! This cafe has huge potential, I will certainly be back!
R.A great place to stop for a surprisingly good coffee. Decent range of gluten free cakes, muffins and savouries. Lovely setting - just across from the beach. I'll be back to sample the cooked fare.
s.Very nice place. Went for breakfast and hot drinks was good and adaptable to my dietary requirements. My father's Bacon was over cooked and hard didn't eat but other plate was not over cooked but very crispy think might have been bad luck. Grate hash browns nice crispy edges not all greasy. Nice ciabatta bread could use butter or margarine. Good hot chocolate. Fairly good meals all round. Love the homely feel staff are very nice and pleasant to talk to. thanks!
E.The Brighton Cafe has becone our favourite place for weekend brunch! Fabulously friendly staff, wonderful fresh food and great coffee 😁. It is well worth the 10 minute drive from home. A lovely setting either indoors or out and great value for money. I thoroughly recommended this great little Cafe! 😁

P.(Translated) We had a great welcome, with a few words in French and more. The kids were delighted, they had chocolate cookies. Lunch was very good, ask for the card. Otherwise, the scones are served hot with butter and the service is very fast.

Nous avons eu un super accueil, avec quelques mots en français en plus. Les enfants étaient enchantés, ils ont eu des biscuits au chocolat. Le déjeuner était très bon, demander pour la carte. Sinon, les scones sont servis chauds avec du beurre et le service est très rapide.
