Reviews of Cove Cafe
M.I have wanted to try this cafe since it reopened and I was not disappointed. The food was fresh and cooked to order. Whilst the menu is small it offers a decent variety of options. I had the Rosti and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and it was not dripping with grease like other places.
The staff are lovely and you can’t beat the view on a good day. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in Dunedin.

J.Liked the uncluttered layout with well-spaced tables inside and several outside tables. All food labelled with price and description. Prompt friendly service. Tea made with tea leaves in an infuser, and the staff happily provided a pot of hot water when requested. Our pies were delicious - tender flaky pastry, good-quality meat and flavoursome gravy. S'more slice delicious, although a bit difficult to eat politely! A perfect cafe stop on your harbourside bike ride. We will definitely stop here again...I want to try those breakfast waffles...
