I stop here often, good coffee but no healthy little snack only cake and meals. Sandwiches would be helpful. Nice interior design and good outdoor seating.

One of my favourite cafes in Dunedin. The decor is really nice and the big booths have super comfy seats. I went in for the first time today and the place was spotless which is something that’s important to me. The staff are nice and friendly and took the time to answer some of my questions. The coffee and scone I had was awesome! I’ll definitely be back with my family. EDIT: The cafe is dog friendly which is awesome, we can now take our dog with us when we go out 👍

My wife, our dog, and I tried Heritage Coffee for brunch on a Saturday morning. We sat at an outside table and were pleasantly surprised by how traffic noise was not a problem. The aspect caught the sun nicely. The staff were professional and friendly. Our meals were beautifully presented, very fresh and tasty but also healthy and good value. The ciabatta bread was amazing, as were the mushroom and rocket salad and the iced chocolate. In fact, everything was faultless. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Just as good as Vogel St next door, which has some stiff competition from this place. Great coffee and creative dishes for brunch. Cabinet food selection is broad and most come with side salads so it’s healthily balanced for your diet. The only issue is that there are only a few tables inside, but the outdoor tables shouldn’t be a problem in the summer when it’s warmer than 10 degrees and not raining.

This was a mother's day treat and lived up to all expectations! In fact the most delicious brunch I've had in a long, long time. Fabulous chicken bagel and avocado smash, followed by perfectly baked peach tart. Cheese scones yet to be eaten but I'm sure they'll be just as good. Friendly and efficient service. most excellent coffee. perfect yummy food. Our table had the Nachos, two types of potato skins and a gluten free bagel with salmon. All well presented, happily served. Decor is trendy, comfy seating... some booths and some tables. Staff where knowledgeable about dietry needs, toilets clean and roomy. Parking can be a pain to find on this up and coming area. Booking is recommended from mid June onwards as it's become more popular to eat out again now lockdown has ended. I will be back.

We had a beautiful lunch there, of Smashed Andamame & Peas and Lamb Flatbread. The feta (we were told it was imported from Denmark) that was mixed among our salads/micro greens was amazing. Good food, good coffee, friendly and helpful staff.

Nice spot, good food and friendly staff BUT - been twice for lunch. Both times there just before 12 and both times they had already run out of the avocado option. If they keep running out of the same stuff before lunch is even properly underway either have more on hand or take it off the menu . Because this is the item I really wanted will make me think twice before going back . A shame really but don't let that stop you from trying the place

An awesome new addition to the Vogel Street area. The food was tasty, well presented and came quickly even though they were really busy. The staff were good natured and smiley and most importantly the coffee didnt just look pretty it tasted great too

Absolutely lovely cafe, awesome outdoor/indoor seating and very pleasant staff. Coffee was fantastic and I was impressed with the wait staff. Awesome sparkling water machine which is a first!!!! Overall I will for sure be back!

Good food, high price. $6.50 for a fizz. Meals around $13-$20 not counting drinks. Staff are lovely. Good selection of bagels, wraps and pies.

Love this new cafe...aptly named for the gorgeous building its in, and a cool location. Particularly love the indoor/outdoor concept within the cafe - it was a windy day today but I was able to sit outside in the sun, yet inside sheltered from the wind! They tell me street art is coming to the walls there too which will look amazing. Lovely healthy and tasty food in the cabinet, veges, salads etc yummy, but wasnt so inspired by so many bagel/bready options on the actual menu. Very good coffee, but sometimes I defer to tasty teas and wasn't taken with their options - need a couple of more interesting green options (no plain green) - as many other cafes offer these days. Artemis teas are good but quite strong and one doesnt always want a special tonic tea (the Liver Tonic is def not a pleasure tea to taste)! Overall, very good first impressions and will be back to experience more. Shame you're not open on weekends as your neighbour V.S.Kitchen is big, dark and noisy and Precinct sadly closed too, so the area a bit limited for weekend cafe options. Congrats on a cool new cafe!
