Delicious menu and great coffee , we had the beef cheek Benedict and the pork belly and a chicken flatbread from the cabinet. Will be returning soon to try some more of the menu ☺️

First time here, got a caramel popcorn for side when order long black, which i find very interesting. Coffee is descent if you are into coffee (unless you really like dark roast coffee) We ordered panacotta and chilli cheese egg. If you love a lil bit of spicy food, i totally recommend the chili cheese egg. They scrambled your egg with a bit of gochujang (korean red spicy paste) and it mixed soooo welll!!

had the banana date loaf with passion fruit curd and panna cotta, it was SO good, the different flavours went together so well. the only thing i don’t like about coming here is how loud it is, but that’s just because of the building. staff are really nice and professional.

Loved everything about this cafe (they just opened 9 months ago!). Great selection of lattes / beverages and delicious / beautiful food. The pulled pork Benedict’s was really unique and I loved my healthy green tea noodle broth dish! Will come back for the salads & pastries. Love the ceramics and industrial ambiance here too. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful late lunch yesterday. Such a great place. Wonderfully warm and friendly staff, all with a smile. Informative, ready to actually serve and offer options if needed. They know their food and drinks. Toilets very clean. Options to hold conference lunches in the area to the side. Catering is available and I would recommend their food to anyone. Food choices and allergies are catered for ie, gf, vego, Df ect. I will be back.

A secret treasure found in the back streets. Free 90 minute parking on the road if you are lucky to get a spot. Delicious coffee with a lovely fruity taste. Chicken wrap was nice with a good spicy taste.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. The ambiance is cosy inside and outside, on the terrace. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is just great. We had a precinct burger, smoothie, jalapeno sausage and fritters. Everything was extremely fresh and tasty, for a very decent price.

I came with a big group on a Sunday so it was fairly busy but looked like they had quite a few servers on. My espresso coffee was awful so I managed to flag down our server to send it back and they got me a filter one which was good. My sister said that the espresso was good on her last visit. I ordered the fried brioche which was very tasty but the others had savoury breakfasts which all sounded nice on the menu but when we tried them they were under-seasoned. Except the katsu burger and lamb ragu (lunch options) which were good. We ordered a second round of coffees which were completely forgotten about and had trouble getting anyone's attention to get them or more water.

What an absolute find. This restaurant has it all. Atmosphere, excellent service and divine food. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food down to the very last morsel. Finish your eating sensation with a Bee Sting!!

A more 'upscale' style menu than most similar cafes, and some interesting dishes/combos that's aren't found many other places. That being said a bit on the expensive side.

It's a bit noisy in the cafe area due to the lack of soft furnishings but they make a really good coffee and have table service.

Third time visitor to this wonderful cafe. Their salads are to die for and the large takeaway mix of four is amazing value for $10. wonderful place, really great staff. Gets busy after 12 but a must for a lunch with friends family or work colleagues. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy

My family and friends, visited Precinct and the food was amazing. This is not right in town. It's nice to be different and some where it's not over crowded. Give this place a try. Hand cream in the toilet smells devine.

My favourite cafe in Dunedin. I try to come here whenever I'm visiting the city. Friendly, helpful staff, great atmosphere, incredible food. Most recently my husband and I shared the sriracha scrambled eggs, and the mushroom and halloumi on polenta cake for breakfast which were both delicious. Planning our next visit already!
