K.Great coffee made with TLC! Stop by here on your way through for a much needed pick me up, it’s the best coffee you’ll find this far south. This is where the locals head for their caffeine fix too. I had black espresso and my folks had flat whites, can confirm both were tasty, no bitterness or burnt taste and perfect temperature - and without sugar. Espresso had a beautiful crema too! Enjoy!
W.Had coffees all over New Zealand, made some by myself in different places, but this is overall the best i had so far. Deserves every star.
He was all alone there, so be as kind as you can and more.

The place will surprise you because of the decor and artwork. The atmosphere is similar (a kind of) to hipster cafe.
Not getting the 5th star because I need a opening time posted somewhere so that I can adjust my trip to pass by when it is open ;-)
O.Stopped here because of the good reviews and desire of a good cup of coffee. I enjoyed my cup (shame they only have paper cups) but it still isn't the quality I'm used to from Australia. There's certainly a room for improvement.

V.The best soy mocha in New Zealand! We travelled from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island over 6 months in 2020 and I tried coffee in just about every town. This place wins the prize for the best mocha in NZ (or anywhere for that matter). Perfect taste, depth and texture. Highly recommend!

I.Superb coffee, best for miles around. Can’t fault that. Cute building. The only reason I rated a 4star was that this cafe would benefit from a few carefully selected pieces of home baking.
R.Best coffee in South Island. Somehow it’s in this awesome place in Owaka. You’ve been told. Go there. Buy at least one Long black and savour how this is possible in the middle of the Catlins.
