S.Cutest little café with lovely staff. We waltzed on in on a drizzly Sunday morning and it was so cozy. Coffee was great and savoury scone was amazing! Densely packed with bits of veg and just delish, very rustic.
We came back the following Tuesday for brekky and were not disappointed. Fried eggs on toast - could not be faulted. Generous, cheap, cheerful. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just good quality, wholesome food.
Definitely recommend to pop in.
K.We live locally and love this spot for its dog-friendly outdoor seating, friendly service, interesting menu and delicious variety. Nothing is boring or generic; there are always plenty of vegetarian/relatively healthy options and the setting is memorable directly across from the Port and heritage buildings.
R.The food was excellent! The photos do not do justice to the flavour of the meals. They use some of the best "raw" products that elevate it above standard cafe food (havoc farmed pork, holy cow milk ect) The staff were considerate and helpful in changing some of the sauces in the food to fit around my diet requirements. The only real criticism I have is that the building itself is a little akward and seating is limited- we sat outside in the sun but had to move when some other smoking customers lit up- this was no fault of the business or the staff but did impact my experience 😥
P.Everything, everything rocks about this place, its central location, it's vibe, it's amazing coffee and cinnamon scrolls that are better than anything I have tasted before.

D.Best coffee I've had in Dunedin. Strong and creamy latte, yes please! Had a raspberry muffin and silberbeet and feta filo. Both were delicious. Also liked the small touches, like different sized cup of water for bubs.

Ç.I have been to Union Co Cafe numerous amounts of times. A great stop off if you are on your way back from a surf at Aramoana. The service is very good and the staff are always up for a chat. Furthermore, the food is very nice and is good value for what you get.

V.Their silverbeet and feta scrolls seem a simple thing, but for some reason they're just out of this world amazing. I've literally searched the world for one as good (or a comparable alternative) and haven't found one. Everything else in the cabinet is also brilliant, and the blackboard menu is also neat - furthermore the staff will happily modify what's on offer to suit special requirements and requests. Highly recommended. Get in early on weekends if you want my silverbeet and feta scroll though!
