L.The only coffee shop we found open 7am Saturday. Quite a good choice of pies/slices/muffins and great coffee. Lots of seats including outside seating. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
Especially recommend checking outside wall with plenty of pin-art pictures 🤩

B.Why 5 stars? Well just my opinion on this place, to me a old fashioned milk bar and great range of good old fashion fresh food at just about old prices. Things like fresh pies and filled rolls and sandwiches, but your fancy stuff if thats what you want. Lots of room for bigger crowds and all wrapped up in a modern fresh clean facility and quick service. So 5 stars from me and a first highest score from me and why I bothered taking photos. See you next time I am in Geraldine.
L.Not the best muffins we had so far in NZ but not bad either. We took the Banana-Choc (very good) and the Raspberry-White-Choc (average) to go, 5$ each.
H.Get a lot of my walking done here. A nice big park. Lots of people walk there dogs and MOST pick up after them. A few let the side down tho ;(

C.This cafe is lovely, very busy and great cakes, i got a split doughnut and a good English breakfast tea. They have a live beehive in here too which was very cool, the bees were contained in and safe.
H.A nice cafe in this region. The vibes are great and we enjoyed out short stay there to have our energy restored. Staff are nice and the service is nice. They also have boiled water which is friendly for customers who wanted hot water. Tap water and hot water are free.
B.Staff somewhat ok, dispite what others say (We are Chinese Singaporean). Food is the best here, especially the hot chocolate, since we never have time to visit the other cafes around here.

However, I thought $32 for a Coffee and a pretty underwhelming Breakfast was extremely expensive. It is also cold inside unless you manage to get sat directly in front of the heater.

R.Service and food was good. The active bee hive was amazing to watch. I feel like there was too much unnecessary plastic being used for dine in customers. Glasses for my iced coffee and hubby's milkshake would have been preferred. Overall a nice lunch break.

G.Not overly impressed with this place. Whilst there were few customers the service was very slow.Two young staff appeared to be on duty but i doubt that they would have been able to keep up in busy times. A panini which we requested to be heated was over done and partially burnt,our daughters milk shake had been whisked so much it was 3/4 froth.The lack of customers should have given us an indication that this place is not a favorite eatery with the locals
V.I went there in late December 2019. If I remember rightly I had a mutton pie. It was absolutely delicious, made the old fashion way with plenty of meat and firm but short crust. If you are a pie aficionado this place is must. Friendly service as well.
L.Not the best bakery I have been to but was not the worst either. We came for morning tea and there was not much of a selection at the time. Coffee was ok. The place was clean and tidy.
