Absolutely delightful couple, great cooked breakfast and very nothing was a bother... if you want a full tummy, cooked just right, then this is the place to go on your travels south... 10/10.

I really wanted this place to better than it was. We like to support out of the way cafe's. The breakfast was just okay but the coffee was a real dissapointment. How you can make coffee in commercial espresso machine look like and taste like instant coffee is a real artform.

I do enjoy dropping in on my travels to catch up with Ian and Gail, lovely people who run what is in my opinion a quality food stop. Good Coffee and great food whilst take stock and watch the world go by for twenty minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🙂

great place to stop just out of rakaia. had to pick Mazda demio up and was RAVENOUSLY hungry and saw oasis tea room home made beef stroganoff pie advertised outside and just HAD to stop and try. had a coffee and the aforementioned pie plus a side serving of excellent service

This place is awesome. Good food. For me it was the lovely owners. My car had overheated and not only did they fill my water container but gave me another which turns out was a godsend! Thanks Oasis, now I know how you got that name.

A truly traditional Kiwi cafe. The host's service was outstanding, as was the food served. I ordered the big breakfast and it was enormous, cooked to perfection and delicious. U cannot recomend Oasis Cafe highly enough.

We stopped here after not being able to find a convenient car park in Geraldine, as it worked out we couldn't have had any better luck, these guys are awesome! By far the friendliest most down to earth service we have experienced in a long time! The owners came & sat with us while we dinned, cluing us in on all the best spots to visit during our South Island trip... great advice too! Seriously if your a tourist (or a local) & want to experience real kiwi culture, great food & hospitality plan a stop off here! Thanks again guys you made our day!!!

Good coffee, toasted sandwich was yum!! Peanut biscuit was a trip to the '80s and excellent. Friendly nice chap serving. Traffic noises were horrendous, the trucks were just zooming past!!!

Rangitata Oasis Tea Rooms is an AMAZING place! The baked good are all baked fresh on site by Ian and the coffees made by Gail are truly DELICIOUS!!! I have read some average reviews about Oasis Tea rooms but they are surely mistaken! This place is a delight, Ian and Gail are so welcoming and the food and coffee is Devine! It is worth a stop!! They will spoil you!!! :)

Oasis tea rooms is on my top 5 best stops for pies. Hand made on site and filled with the biggest pieces of mouth watering steak you'll ever find. Their steak and mushroom also have large slices of mushrooms - one of the very few steak and mushroom pies that are actually exactly what they say they are.
