Lovely country Cafe. Beautifully restored building, with modern amenities. Friendly staff and great food. I had mushrooms on toast with a salad as a vegan option. My partner had eggs Benedict which came served on a fresh cheese scone. We also had some great coffees. There is lots of seating indoors, and more outside in the lovely gardens. If you are traveling through, it is certainly worth the stop.

This cafe improves with age. Garden dining to beat Covid and vaccine passes required. Makes you feel safer. Inside you eat in an original cottage built in the gorgeous historic milling town of Woodbury. Well presented cafe food.

Our go to place for afternoon tea on a Sunday after a visit to the Overflow in Mayfield. Usually a pot of Earl Grey tea and a Raspberry Chocolate Brownie served with either yogurt or icecream .Pic shows shared Brownie...usualy twice as big.Yummy raspberry sauce

Enjoyed our visit to the Woodbury Cafe today. Really good atmosphere and welcoming space. Went for brunch with 2 friends; got an omelet, nachos, and scrambled eggs. Pretty good eggs, average nachos, decent prices for meals. Limited menu, but range of cabinet food was really good. Hummingbird coffee. Outdoor space available too which is nice.

The latest addition to the selection of superb cafés in and around Geraldine, the Woodbury Store Cafe has reinvigorated the lovely old building that serviced the Woodbury district from 1874 until 1993. The building has been faithfully restored to enhance the original timber construction while adding a sleek modern touch to the interior. Offering a selection of cooked food and cabinet snacks (awesome date scones, I can confirm!), teamed with excellent coffee, this is a great spot to while away a few hours out in the country. You can also check out the little library across the road (open occasionally) and the lovely little St. Thomas' Anglican church (where my wife and I got married) just around the corner.

What a delight. For a hipster from wellington this was a pleasure to stop at. Service and people were country friendly, pleasant and striking up conversations. The food was yummy! Great gf range including melting moments and lasagne mmhh. Prices didn’t feel inflated. Country atmosphere with an all wooden and natural interior, lots of seating. I recommend going out of your way to find this gem.

Fantastic food. I had the spinach, walnut & pear salad, so delicious. Lovely welcoming staff & relaxing outlook. The only thing I can mention that wasn't positive was the fertiliser or silage type smell, which wasn't the fault of the cafe itself of course! Definitely would recommend 🍒

Average service tables not cleared for 1 hour! warm glass of vaguely banana tasting milk dished up as a smoothie. Won't be going back

Book a table if you are going for Friday dinner. Pizzas wer pretty good. Thin crust base which is preffered in my house anyway. Wait staff was attentive to our needs and were happy to chat. Will go back for the Mixed platter.

Stunning presented food cabinet, lots of choice, coffee great, only negative would be the smoothies (warm and tasteless, I had the mixed berry) Friendly attentive staff

Wonderful cabinet with varied selection. Coffee canbe variable but on a good day it is great. Setting and ambience cant be faulted. Service certainly better when more mature staff are serving. Maybe now is the time to introduce a loyalty card to encourage regulars to keep returning and to show appreciation for their custom.

I had the best breakfast I've ever had at a cafe here. Delicious rosti. Excellent scrambled eggs. Perfectly cooked bacon. We loved it!

A very nice experience. Friendly service and some very nice food. We only were not all that impressed with the coffee. Not quite hot enough, maybe because of the very thick-walled cups which probably were not pre-heated. The cups look quite large but because of the thick walls there isn't as much coffee in it as you'd expect.

Today we experienced this wonderful place. Lovely food and great coffee. Very nice inside with an outside area complete with tables and umbrellas. Friendly staff. The weather was perfect and the location is just a nice distance for a wee drive. Very picturesque. Will definitely return and fully recommend.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff and food was delicious

Very Nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee and yummy food. The tables outside the cafe even have hooks to tie up your dog. I highly recommend this cafe for it's county setting and very friendly staff. Just five minutes drive from Geraldine.

Came to the cafe for breakfast today. Thoroughly recommend the bacon, eggs and salmon. A beautifully cooked and generous meal and at a reasonable price. The cafe is in a lovely setting and well worth a visit. 👍

Overall great....only negative is if you ask for hard cooked eggs and receive totally undercooked runny eggs...ewwww not great

A wonderful restoration but they really need advice 8 staff when only 5 needed 3 kitchen 2 serving Need an experienced cost conscious Chef to design a quick and tasty menu etc Quick to prepare soup and other items, freeze portion sizes same with the baking Opening 7 days is madness Suggest Thursday - Sunday

Really good food great service & atmosphere

New, nicely decorated little cafe, pork pie with a difference served with a great chutney, date and orange scone and muffin hit the spot, coffee needs a bit of work, good selection of salads as well
