L.Today, instead of getting a salmon bagel as I usually do, I decided to get a freshly baked bacon and egg pie.
Upon the first bite, I was transported back to my childhood. Back to the original bacon and egg pies I used to buy from Cottles.
I felt pure joy with each bite of the decadent pillowy pastry. Filled to the brim with the airy scrambled egg filling and the generous amount of smokey flavored bacon.
This pie was so good I wanted to cry. Not because I was triggered by nostalgic memories, but because I wished I had bought more than one 😂
