Had brunch here during the Christmas holidays and although busy the service was pretty quick. Food was great and so was the service.

My favourite place to go for a nice coffee and breakfast/lunch! Great playground for the kids to be entertained, too, while having a delicious coffee or spicy chai. The cabinet selection is great and drinks and food are served super quickly which can be essential with a starving kid! Staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!!!

Best cafè in the gisborne area, recommend the Belgium iced chocolate for almost every catch up occasion, or their beautiful hot beverages for a complete catch up with your friends and family, both equally delicious in both dine in and takeaway options, and the staff they're amazing especially jerome and Jordan.

Lovely atmosphere. Yummy food and Beverages. Need your vaccine pass.

The food is pretty decent for the price. Gets quite busy on weekends. The eating area by the playground could use more greenery as it feels quite cold and prison-like with all the concrete. A bigger window out to the river would have been better as you cannot see the river unless you're right next to the window.

A simple poached eggs on toast, but was beautiful 👌 And, as always, the people there are friendly and helpful

So far my favorite cafe in gisborne, beautiful food and beverages weither you prefer cold or hot, extremely affordable and bonus rewards for having a columbus coffee card avaliable at the counter or the mobile app, perfect place to come bring a friend and the kids to play on their outdoor/indoor playground.

We stopped for a little breakfast and was yum. Good coffee too.

Coffee and food were yummy. Excellent quick service. Table was cleared by a man (not much hair) did not see his name badge but he was very friendly and efficient. Sat outside and enjoyed the view of the garden centre, healthy plants, and lots of variety. Love the water features. Can highly recommend.

the baked potato stuffed with lots of cheese and bacon was to die for !! Absolutely scrumptious!!

Just enjoyed lovely gluten free lunch of Eggs Benedict with potato rosti and salmon. Good choice for us coeliacs but note menu stipulates low gluten. Lovely staff. Good coffee to finish 😀

Food and coffee good however today (12.9), girl on coffee machine wore mask incorrectly, not across nose, then she pulled it down under chin, leaving her nose and mouth exposed!

I highly recommend this place for anyone who prefers a chill place to go eat, have your morning coffee and feel comfortable! This cafe has excellent service, good coffee, it’s not too expensive and it has a really cozy feel. The aesthetic is beautiful, it feels like your in a beach house and it also feels rustic.

My favourite place for the whole family to enjoy a yummy coffee, brekky and lunch. The kids love the ice chocolates and fluffy pancakes. The eggs benedict with potato rosti are so good! Columbus at Mitre10 in Gisborne is in a awesome location. If enjoying your meal in the garden area isnt enough, you can always look out the window to the riverside. The food comes out super quick and the staff are lovely!
