Their cheese toasties! OMG! Great coffee. Little hidden spot. Very welcoming with everyone 😊 definitely worth a visit.

Great hidden little gem, super delicious coffee, but not easy to find, cos there’re no signs out. Just the next entrance to the Gull Fuel station, enter to the right fence and drive the whole way through till the end and then right and here you’re. I put some pictures with marks online. Staff is very friendly

Delicious coffee. A real hidden gem and lovely coffee. Good collection of cakes and sweets and a really interesting shop selling some unique cookbooks and coffee gadgets.

To start this review I'd like to add, I love coffee so much that the places I can get good coffee are not so common. That being said, driving from far north to Gisborne I stopped once for coffee where I know is top class. Now I'm not saying this lightly but far East Coffee has now joined my list of 4 top coffee places in nz

Great coffee! Hard to find down the back of what looks like an earth moving equipment yard. We asked why no signs? They like to be low key, using word of mouth marketing. Anyway - hunt it down, it's worth finding!! Best of all it was $4.50 for a large takeaway flat white.

You may never find this place but if you do the coffee is strong, smooth and well made. Get some.

Excellent coffee and service! They have a great range of drinks including filter and nitro at very reasonable prices ($3.50 for bottomless batch filter!!). Very friendly staff as well who are very happy to chat

Awesome little place. As I drove past all the storage units I felt a little out of place and started wondering if this was the right area. But there it was, a storage shed converted into a quaint little coffee shop. As I walked in it felt quite nostalgic, soft music played via record and the smell of freshly ground coffee filled the air. I was greeted warmly and prompt - the two things I like when ordering out. It is very popular as most tables were taken but then they do coffee to go as well. Coffee was great and while sitting inside you quickly forget where you are. Definately recommend and will return.

Coffee was good as usual. Problem was I ordered a latte and got a flat white! Barista was my normal farmers market lass and she made me my normal from there. As the wife already had her coffee and had waited for mine before drinking, I took the flat white.

Hidden gem but well worth finding! Roasted beans fresh each week.

Excellent coffee everytime. Their 'made from scratch' cabinet food is delicious (try the eclair!) and the sandwiches are simple but have several delicious flavors. Very affordable option too. I go here every week.

The best little secret in Gisborne. If you love coffee you will love this little gem of a place. Tucked away but so worth the search.

When the staff don't know if something is vegan or not then they find out straight away. Coffee is small but good and staff went around the patrons giving water. A secret hidden gem with limited indoor seating, but the cafe is value added to the roastery. Love it here and the man candy behind the counter.

Great coffee, and plentiful vegetarian and vegan options both sweet and savoury. We highly recommend the popcorn peanut chocolate slice, we had it 2 days in a row. It's a little hard to find but definitely worth it. Also serving coffee at the farmers market on Saturday mornings

If I drank coffee I am sure it would be perfect. I get tea or chai latte. Always worth it when you bring your own cup. People great. Interesting location as it is always busy.

Lovely wee coffee spot. Hard to find if you don't know where it is - no signage (not sure why - perhaps they are not encouraging foot / retail traffic as it's a side of their roastery location). Nevertheless, it's well worth the visit - delicious coffee with some cabinet food options from local suppliers. Also has some rad coffee-based items on sale. Love it :)

Best coffee in Gizzy! Not to mention wonderful, informative, and genuinely friendly service. On top of that, there’s a beautiful shelf of goodies to browse through while listening to great vinyl. I’ll be back!
