Reviews of PBC Cafe
C.Came here for brunch, very popular and lovely old building. Service was friendly and food was great. They had a card up stating food would be up 45 minutes and it took this long. However as we were aware not a problem, enjoyed dining outside. Some parking on street.
W.Agree with the most comments at here. The best Café in Gisborne! But because they are so popular, busy and large selection menu, they can be a very long waiting time! Lucky they have a good customer service and a sign saying long waiting time. The food are great and good coffee too! I happy to wait and come back again!
T.Not happy with the coffee that served in a glass, get cold so fast. The romanian lettuce was heated with the croissant, but the rest are good tho.
C.A good cafe is hard to find in Gisborne and PBC is one of the best in the area. Nice outdoor area but it’s on the state highway so plenty of traffic and fumes. There’s often a long wait for food (they closed the kitchen when the wait got longer than 90 mins when I was there on high season). I would say the quality of the food and drinks is adequate but nothing special.
D.Went for brunch, meal size is very generous and so tasty, loved the hash browns. Presentation was top draw. Was quite busy and there was a 30-40min delay until the food arrived. Having said that though there was a note at the counter explaining that which was appreciated so didn’t mind the wait. Great venue with lots of outdoor seating. Well worth a visit.

T.Love this place everytime I'm in town I come here mainly for breakfast food is always on point everytime!! Staff are amazing and friendly presentation of the food is like a piece of art work just amazing I love this place and highly recommend you go check them out if your ever in gisborne this would have to be the best place to eat in gizzy for me hands down been coming here for the past 3 years and everything is still 100% absolutely amazing!!! Thanks guys see yous next time❤💛💚
K.Stopped here randomly to settle from the rain and ordered a cup of tea and caramel slice which was delicious. Loved the decor of the place too.
The menu looked good and I would definitely come here to eat again.
