S.Great Light well spaced venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Cabinet and menu options. Good sized and very appealing to the eye as well as the tastebuds. Great friendly service. Will definitely be back!!
G.We had a lovely brunch here today. The staff were kind and professional. I enjoyed a vegan avocado stack which was so fresh and consisted of avocado on black bean Pattie’s with fresh cherry tomatoes and fried mushrooms. One of the best brunches I’ve had in Gisborne in a long time. I would highly recommend you go check them out!!

C.Good coffee. Food was pretty good too, despite mistakes with one of our orders but lucky it was a preference not an allergy. Make sure you scan the walls as there are menus everywhere.

N.We had breakfast at Zest on a Saturday morning recently. The food was very tasty and well presented and the service excellent. The breakfast was so nice we decided to grab a few of their wraps for lunch and they were delicious also. Highly recommended - we'd be happy to visit Zest again next time we're in town.
J.Zest food was OK. We ended up ordering from the cabinet as there was almost an hour wait on food and they wouldn't let us swap fried eggs for scrambled in the big breakfast. Cabinet food took 40 mins to be received. Coffee was out quick which was a shame as its nice to have your drink with your meal.

The Breakfast was Fantastic I had the Zest Big Breakfast it had 3 Hashbrowns nice and crispy, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausages, Eggs on French Toast, Mushrooms and Fried Tomatoes, Thank you for the Great Time I had 5/5 Stars Definitely Recommend going to a Coffee or Breakfast

L.Had a great breakfast this morning. Friendly staff and chef willinging to make something from the lunch menu. Meals superbly presented, and LARGE! Far more than what we could eat in 1 sitting and certainly value for money. Lovely atmosphere and caters well for family sized groups.
S.Just had breakfast here 11 May 21, & I told our waitress to tell the cook I'd lick the plate if I was at home, plenty as in quantity, delicious as in lick my plate & it looked very ka pai.... We'll be back
O.Best catering in town. We were here for work and over a few days tried a few options. The food from Davie and the zest team was head and shoulders above the rest.
For me this meant primarily freshness - other catering was clearly not made fresh that morning. Davie's food was made that morning, without question.
This also meant ingredients. The wraps were overflowing with healthy greens and the feta spinach pie was packed with flavour. Best I've ever had - there was no filler - you can tell the recipe's haven't been altered to maximize profit at the expense of taste.
Clearly a team that take pride in their food, and I'll go straight here for catering in future.

N.This is our {family and friends} go to café. Food is delicious and the portion sizes are excellent and they make good coffee. Davie and his crew are excellent hosts. The surroundings are clean and spacious. Every month they have exhibitions of local artists which are pleasing to the eye and great lunchtime conversation pieces.

Einer der wirklich ganz wenigen Lichtblicke in Gisborne. Sehr nettes Personal und das ab 6 Uhr morgens. Tolle Frühstücke mit guten regionalen Produkten. Kaffee war auch sehr gut. Preise absolut in Ordnung. Sollten wir nochmal einen Grund haben, nach Gisborne zurück zu kommen, dann werden wir definitiv wiederkommen.
