U. G.What a cool cafe! Loved the range of vegan and gluten free options across sweet and savory.. I tried the raspberry tart and the baked potato, both vegan and gf, and both were absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend. Also have a bliss ball which I am yet to try and looking forward to.. :)
C. M.Best café ever! And I have travelled at least 70% of New Zealand. It is the combination of a sublime range of food and drinks, a cozy relaxed environment with the most amazing friendly service. I love that they do vouchers and sell takeaway cups too. FRIENDS Central Perk was iconic but this is more so!

S. S.I am a coffee lover. I always try different spots to find the best coffee. And this one is definitely my favorite! It has a great flavor, it smells amazing!

They have a lot of choice if you’re into some desserts or some pies. We had the scone and raspberry cake and it was delicious.

M. E.I'm from the states and when we went to New Zealand now three years ago we stopped at Cafe Ambiance on our way south. Let me just say WOW! The food is to die for, the people are so unbelievably friendly, and the prices were very affordable. My wife and I loved it so much that we drove 45 minutes out of our way on the way north to go back through Gore and stop here for breakfast again!
3 Years have passed and I still think of the two most amazing little breakfasts I had at Cafe Ambiance... I hope i can retire in Gore simply to go here daily!
Do yourself a favor and eat here for me and savor every dang bite!

I had breakfast at Cafe Ambience and when I asked if they had any vegan options they whipped up something that wasn't on the menu and was absolutely amazing, best meal I had all week. Would be happy to return to Gore just to visit this little gem again. Great service, great food and great coffee

Chai was well done but not a brand I prefer but that is just a personal preference.
Excellent service and they are doing their part for the environment by changing processes and banning takeaway cups from inside the cafe.

C. M.Great place, great food, very popular. Staff excellent. Only problem is the sticky tables. I understand they have to be wiped after use but I think it would be better to have a different type of surface on them other than paint. Parking not a prob. Otherwise can't fault.

Easiest parking, and free, is to turn (From Dunedin) just across bridge go straight through the round about and take next turn left. at the furtherst point of car park is a walk through, then turn right - and you're there. Good snacks and friendly staff.
