G.The most amazing taste experience and friendly people. I had the smoked kahawai and caper tart ,so delicious ,full of fish yum , followed by the custard square. . Now I have been to alot of places in NZ and Australia but always looking for the perfect one... Found it in my own backyard .... well done French Tart .

Outstanding coffee. Thanks to the locals who pointed us to this cafe. Easy if you are cycling the Te Awa River ride, it’s right by the Fairfield Bridge

We also ordered a brownie very yummy i loved the chunks of chocolate in it and the berry purée was the perfect touch. Maybe need less cream but overall was really yum. The iced chocolate was average. And hot chocolate was ok too
D.Always great food and service. Today I had the bacon and egg muffin, and, while I am usually such a fan of their fabulous scones, I loved this variation! Coffee, as always, was delicious. Really convenient early morning meeting place.

A.This is a cool little caf, they've done a good job with the limited space. Food was delicious, tried the eggs bene and bacon butty and thoroughly enjoyed them. It is very 'staple' though, so if you're looking for something creative or different this isn't it.
Classic done well would sum it up.

I'm purticular about my coffee and it was fantastic.
I love💕 eggs Benny and I have to say that this is one of the best I've ever had.

A.Was welcomed by staff who were lovely. We ordered from the cabinet and all the treats we got were delish. The iced chocolates were fantastic (not stinge on the ice cream😅) staff also saw us out and were so charming, I will be back with the baby for a break for sure.

S.For a neighborhood cafe they do a decent job. The place is cosy and with character, but the staff seemed a bit lost. They didn't approach us when we entered (though it was not crowded at all) and we had to ask for everything: menu (which was on the blackboard), water, even utensils. Food was nice, but the portions a bit small (French?) for the price. Coffee and sugar-free/gluten-free/dairy-free cake was delicious though.

K.First time back in a while; quite a different environment. Coffee was good, scone was good, breakfast off the menu, not so good sadly
B.Overall a good boutique style cafe. Friendly staff, decent all day menu as well as cabinet foods, including some gluten free. Food is prepared fresh, portions are decent and the eggs are free range. Most importantly, the coffee (Fixation from Tauranga) is very good and they do a Vienna.
J.Good coffee but disappointed with the corn fritter today. Was cold, thin and lacked flavour. However, it was delicious last time.
T.In front of a busy street but not close enough to the river, this cafe is well visited by locals. It has no more than 10 tables and the staff can sometimes be overwhelmed. Their specialty would be their pastries and pies which look fresh and attractively prepared. The waitress was kind enough to refund for an extra dish mistakenly ordered, good on her. Do not rely on TripAdvisor's map to get there.
B.Probably our favourite cafe in Hamilton. French Tart delivers consistently good food and drinks. Cabinet food selection isn't huge but what they do have is nice. Their eggs benedict is awesome. Staff are very friendly. Additional parking is available at the rear of the building. We will often go out of our way to get a coffee from here!
