A.I like this cafe a lot. I use to call it "Frog cafe" when I talk about it to my friends, but none of them couldn't find it on maps🤣🤣. I am hooked up on the blue cheese, spinach quiche and I eat it every single time. The food looks amazing and scrumptious ofcourse!! Hop in your vehicle and stop it at Hopin Stopin Cafe where tummy feels the true happiness 😋🙂🙂

M.Lovely interior decorations. A happy, sunny and easy place to stop. Nice looking food but could do with more savoury items. The toilets smelt delightful - like lollies. Clean and sparkly. A little pricey, rural towns with low overhead should not charge the same as Auckland.

C.This is a great little cafe if you're not going to a cafe to be 'seen'. Great cook, great food, lovely genuine staff who are all cheerful and helpful. I like dates scones so it's the one I visit for my favourite scone. It is a shame they dont take advantage of the lovely quiet river side garden and tidy it up a bit for more enjoyable outside dining.

L.Good Coffee and food here. Easy stop near the main Auckland to Hamilton road. Nice decor and views of the river. Be prepared for bright green walls. Plenty of group and small table seating with several rooms. Perfectly timed stop 90 minutes from Auckland.

A.My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on the way home from Auckland, we received a warm welcome as soon as we walked in the door, and with the menu board on display, it didn't take us long to decide what to have.
Our breakfast was simply superb, I would go so far as to say the best we've had to date..and we've had a fair few around the North Island, fast, friendly and efficient service, and a neat cafe to stop at, thoroughly recommended.

D.Beautiful clean and plenty of parking space available. Cafe was busy yet efficient and the prices weren't too bad. There are pockets of quiet corners for seating with views of the mighty Waikato river both inside and outside with steady afternoon traffic flow. I loved the historical age of the building, it sure is a lot bigger inside than what the eye sees, such a nice surprise.

A.Our team of 5 pre ordered our meals, we arrive to a reserved table, served our food all at once, hot and delicious. Staff were excellent, and friendly, we tried 3 different slices, all divine. Photos below are eggs Benedict, chicken burger (left) big beef burger (right) fish meal with a egg. Meals were all well portioned. We will be back :)
K.Have only ever driven past via old motorway. Recently was very hungry on an early-morning trip North. Remembered this cafe so stopped and hopped in to vibrant staff and delicious looking cabinet food. The quiches are to-die-for and the MAGIC SLICE, phhhwoaaar that’s the best slice I’ve ever had! Recently returned to buy a small carton of them to share (with myself)

Wife order mushrooms which was nice but nothing unique. Worth stopin in to make your own assesment however with so many good options out there its likely my last visit here.

L.We are from England and always pop in to the Hopin' Stopin' for 3 reasons - one, because the cakes and coffee are good, two, because it is on the way from Auckland to Hamilton where our son lives, and three, because we have a cafe in Cornwall called The Fat Frog which also has lots of frogs in it.
