A.Loved the service, the food and the setting. Really beautiful.
T.I don’t know how I’ve been to Hamilton so many times and haven’t found this place already, but sure glad I tried it, beyond expectations. Food and coffee were both so delicious. Portions just right, taste is perfect. They use Grey St Roasting coffee here, Hamilton local, can’t get better than that. For sure would be coming back here next time.
M.Epic food & staff at Lykke, really cool little cafe. Had a delicious eggs bene with halloumi & mushrooms and a very fluffy & light super tasty savoury scone today with a delicious coffee. Wish I lived in Hamilton this would be my regular for sure !

J.Went on a brunch with the boys last Saturday, and the food was stunning, beautifully presented and extremely filling. I had the big breakfast and everything was perfect. Didn't have to wait long for the food. And the workers there were so well trained and respective as we had trouble paying the bill because one of our mates cards weren't working, so they were patient as he called his bank to find the problem. Thank you so much Lykke!
T.Located in a commercial area next to a car yard, it’s not where you’d expect a cafe. The interior is high ceilinged and comfortable though. The food has some Danish twists that make it unique, and definitely quality food over quantity seems to be the philosophy. The big breakfast had delicious and juicy meatballs, perfectly crisp hash cake, and very tasty smoky thick cut bacon that would be very hard to beat. The hotdogs contained a flavourful homemade sausage topped with gourmet pickles. The fries were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. The coffee used Grey Roasting Co beans, and was smooth and faultless. At the time we visited there was 20 minute wait for food, but at least the staff (who were professional) warned us and also tolerated our hungry 18 month old son.

I’m yet to dine in person, I’ve only ever ordered via Uber eats but Lykke hits the spot every time. The coffee if never burnt, yet delivered hot.
Today I also decided to try more than my usual and grabbed the Avo Smash.WOW WOW WOW. Egg poached perfectly, seasoned well and smashed avocado is plenty and let’s not forget mention that takeaway presentation. 100% recommend👌

J.Just lovely! Genuinely lovely staff and really great drinks. We had a chai latte, an iced coffee and an iced chocolate and they were all divine. Can’t beat the Scandi-inspired interior and gifts. The gifts are largely geared towards mums and mums-to-be. Very well ventilated so you don’t have to worry in this pandemic-ruled world. It was also easy to find a park (on a weekday), plus there is free WiFi. We will be back to try the food!
T.The date citrus scones are the best, you guys need to sell them during the working week., the Gluten free chicken is the best too please keep it :) the menu is incredible..

C.Very tasty food. I enjoyed the rubbed beef open sandwich and "yellow" smoothie. The beef lived up to the reputation of sous vide. Waitstaff were very helpful, particularly with my mother-inlaw's karen-level order, took it like a champ and got it all right. Reasonably priced with a great selection.
E.Had eggs Bene here and it tasted amazing. Haven't found a Cafe in a long time that makes everything to perfection on the plate. Staff were great. It was nice inside and food was quick to reach us.

S.Drove all the way from Auckland after I came across it’s IG page so I decided to give it a go. Five star - not disappointing at all, worth every liter of fuel! Food and presentation were great, I can taste that no corners were cut. I like the vibe too. Staff were kind and engaging - definitely welcoming and pleasant. Coffee’s great too!
C.Best modern cafe in Hamilton. Here's my story, I'm driving down Greenwood street on my way to Wendys for some lunch, I see to my left a cafe I have never seen before right next to my favourite ice cream place! I pull in to the parking lot which was very easy to get into and find a spot, jump out of my car and walk in. Immediately I am hit with a modern restaurant. If you want to see the future of cafes this is the one to stop at! I ordered their tacos and boy oh boy did I LOVE IT!! My mouth was drooling when the nice waitress brought it out to me! The taco was full of flavours! I am definitely coming back. And I had no issues at all with payments or staff, it was just a friendly place!
L.One of my favourite cafes in Hamilton. Great menu with a few vegan options. Their cabinet food is amazing aswell as their coffee. Lovely space to dine in, browse the homeware section and soak in the good vibe. Love this place.

M.AMAZING cafe!! The best coffee in Hamilton (I’m fussy!). Amazing service - always so very friendly and willing to help. I also recommend the smoothie (yellow is my fave). This isn’t your usual cafe with your usual menu. It’s nice to go somewhere with some creativity with the menu. These guys have nailed it - something different for sure. The gift store part is really cool too - so many cute gifts which are very well priced. A great range of indoor plants, art and stuff for kids and homeware. My husband has had the big breakfast and the hotdog and loved them both. I’ve had the smashed avo (that’s not what it’s called on the menu!) and the granola and both were beautiful and delicious. Great portion sizes as well. Cannot recommend enough! You won’t be disappointed!
M.Lovely interior design, amazing coffee, friendly staff. Food needs work, tofu open sandwhich was confused. bread with no relish or spread to hold and balance the ingredients, pickles were tasty, tofu cooked well perhaps one mushroom cut up in the mix, terryaki sauce was ok. I just felt each part was good but didnt go well together. My other friend said his dish was ok. Would go for the coffee though.

C.Amazing cafe! Hard to find a cafe that caters to dairy and gluten free, but this place has many amazing options on the menu! Staff very friendly and helpful catering to our group of 6 which included 2 young kids. Will definitely be back!
K.Love the atmosphere here. Super cute decor. Great Coffee! We had the batch brew. Equally important, the food is presented beautifully and tastes amazing. It was delightfully filling. I’ve been back a lot and have introduced a few people along the way too. It’s one of my favourite places for a brunch/lunch. Especially if we are heading out for the day or coming back from something.
