k.A comfortable space with a fairly pleasant aesthetic. The coffee and food was acceptable. Though not exceptional. Though I'm informed both are usually better. The kitchen only had a single staff member on which made a difference apparently. Staff were pleasant and friendly and greeted us on entry.menus and pricing were clear. Not a bad stop for brunch on hood street

I had the pancakes here which were very fluffy and thicker than a normal pancake. The additional bacon makes this dish.
The latte here is honestly one of the best latte's I've had, would highly recommend.
The only thing letting this place down is the toilet was a bit gross, which was surprising when the restaurant itself is nicely decorated and clean.

A.Nothing but great things to say about Markyle's! Was visiting from Auckland, and decided to stop off at Markyle's yesterday for breakfast and a coffee.
The food was absolutely fantastic, well presented, delicious, and really good servings. Coffee's were also fantastic. Staff were extremely nice and welcoming.

T.The restaurant is lovely, clean and cozy. First time here. We were happy with the scallops dish. The Full Benedict was $18 for 2 eggs on 2 rosti. We got some bacon for an extra $5. The four pieces of fried chicken breast were dry. The burger had was hard on the palate. The sauce and cheese were tasty but the beef patty was very compact and lacked flavour. Happy with the Flat White. Warm and friendly service. The prices are pretty steep for the offerings.

D.Awesome breakfast cafe. Utilitarian name, but food and service go the extra mile. Had the rosti stack and French toast. Both meals were well-presented, well-proportioned, and decently priced. Coffee was great too. This is my new favorite breakfast stop in Hamilton and I'll be stopping in each time I'm in town.

A.Excellent customer service and superb coffee. Visited the cafe this afternoon with friends for a meeting and we would like to give a special shout out to the team members working today. We were welcomed nicely with genuine smiles and greetings. Love the energy and store vibe; they really gave full attention to each of us. What I personally love about the team today was the fact that they're supposed to close at 2pm, which we missed to check when we entered the cafe (store hours posted at the entrance) but the staff were so polite and never showed any impatience when we were still finishing our discussions. The consistency of giving a welcoming environment and genuine customer service from the moment we walked in till we left the place make this cafe a " must experience destination" in Hamilton. Keep it up guys.💯👍👍

A.Really good food and drinks, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. We were happy both times we came here for lunch. Our table ordered the Steak Sandwich, Nachos, Avocado bread, and the Eggs toast. We, a family of five consisting of two (fairly grown up parents) and three children (5, 14 months and 6 weeks) descended on this place a couple of Sunday mornings ago.
We had the most enjoyable experience!!

I went to lunch time. The staff also have a nice smile, and the flat white is fluffy and not too bitter, and the taste is just right. The lunch special Caesar salad and seafood chowder were delicious! I wish I had bacon in the Caesar salad. The price was not too high compared to other cafes, and the price was reasonable.
