Thanks Mavis & Co Rototuna:) You helped brighten the day for myself and my 4 lovely daughters. We don’t get to eat out together very often, so when we do, we hope it will be extra special! Your wait staff were friendly and attentive (without being in our faces!) and the food was absolutely delicious. Please tell your chefs that we were grateful for the time they took to produce delicious quality food, especially on a hot day! My brioche French toast……..oh Lordy it was perfect! Thank you :)

Food is good and tasty, coffee is average though, depends on which staff does it for you. We were there one lunch time, staff looked tired and lack of energy. No smiles. Other than that, plenty parking spaces and central location, right next to New World. They also do dinner. Good and unique selections of food from the menu. Good interior ambience. Always have customers inside which means it is popular with locals. Recommending a try.

We have a Mavis and Co cafe close to where we live, but we have been out to their Rototuna cafe a few times. It’s a great little location. It feels a bit more open, all the furniture is modern and fresh feeling. The food is familiar, great quality, decent sized cakes and other goodies. The staff are pretty attentive and make a good selection of drinks too. I tried a smoothie last time I was there and it was delicious.

We had lunch here today, the food was magical. 5 stars to the Belgian Waffles, Brownie, Scone and Mocha. 4.5 stars for the Turkish eggs. 5 stars for their service. Update: Tried their new Lamb Naan and Southern Fried Chicken Burger, was blown away again by the flavours.

This could be the best Mavis in town. Really amazing bruch menu . Fresh and very clever menu. Good fit out, free parking and they serve booze for brunch if you fancy a drink . It gets busy but they seem to move tables pretty quick at peak times . Also the coffee is very strong so ask for single shot if you can't handle strong coffee . Can't wait to try thier dinner menu. We will be back. Right next to new world in shopping centre . This photo was taken August 2021 last weekend. It's the eggs bene and the big breakfast . Yummo

We stop at the Hamilton for coffee. Found this place near the supermarket. Their coffee is absolutely amazing. Love their coffee machine, eye-catching of the cafe. Good service and good range of food. Family friendly. Highly recommend to all of your guys.

The food is delicious here, just the tables are super close together which makes it a little awkward and cramped. The staff could be a little friendlier.. everything came on time and they were prompt and efficient but seemed stressed and maybe a bit overwhelmed? Minor issues though

Had lunch here. Food was amazing. My husband and 2 kids were trying to find seats, waitress was quite helpful to arrange seating. Just waited for 5 mins and we got that soft nice corner. It was hard to have the whole family out for food and coffee but Mavis now is so close home and we felt welcome. Couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely coming back!

When we arrived for breakfast they were full, but the great staff there asked us to wait and they’d seat us as soon as possible. It got busier, but they made sure we knew they were looking out for us. A table was finally free and they seated us and served us with a delicious breakfast. Congratulations to your welcoming staff. Spicy chai was great. Friendly staff. I'd have liked the soup, but unfortunately, like most things, it had garlic in it. It would be great to go out and not have to query every single item on the menu. Not just this cafe, but the majority these days. When you have an allergy, eating out is hard work!

Good presentation was very good. Disappointed with the apple and rhubarb crumble that was served cold took some time to get to the table. Not worth the $16. Could have turned up the heating as well. Did not have a beer that was on the beer list. Not a good start for a first time. Some room for improvement

Highly recommend this top Cafe in Hamilton. I'm glad they didn't just copy and paste their Ham East site , instead create a brand new looking Mavis Cafe for Rototuna. Food is fresh and amazing. Most of the waitress are young but friendly. Coffee is great.

Love the Food, service is great. I can see Mavis spendtlots effort and money to make the place look beautiful. Really love the deco and the design - great designer!! But what the hell are those hideous looking pictures in their function room?? So repulsive! completely distroyed the look and feel of the place!! Please for the love the god, take them down!!!!

Wow, outstanding food and excellent service. Tonight was what I’d expect from a flash CBD restaurant right in Suburban Rototuna; 2 minutes drive from home. We will be back for dinner not just our usual weekend morning coffee here. 12/10

The Fiand and coffee were great also nice surroundings.I am only giving 3 stars because the young women who took my order at the counter was trying to tie her hair into a pony tail at the same time. After taking my order she finished tying up her hair. Doing Hair around food areas is not good should be done out the back and hands washed after doing it. Another bug bear of mine is ordering a long black coffee and it arrives with out a small jug of water then the server has to walk back to get it such a waste of time and annoying that the hot water didnt come with the coffee.
