Good atmosphere and service. Talented and fast barista. I haven't eaten here for a long time, but I will be returning soon! They even went above and beyond and remade a coffee for our group because she looked "unhappy" with her latte art! That's service!

Out of a huge number of great coffees in HB, Bay Espresso is one of my favourites. Fantastic place for casual breakfast or lunch, real pride in the quality of food they serve, a wonderfully relaxed, inviting atmosphere and lovely people - can’t recommend it highly enough.

I love Bay Espresso's coffee. I normally get my Bay Espresso coffee from the farmers market but as of late I haven't been so when I was coming hme from Clive I had to stop in for a cuppa. The staff were very friendly just like the guys at the market

Great food! Lovely outdoor area, but unfortunately they had a big day with customers and when we turned up with kids it would have been courteous and nice to be told there was a wait. We would have opted for cabinet food over the 80 minute wait for our brunches. Greatful for the free drinks, which was a nice token, but an acknowledgment earlier than an hour into the wait would have done wonders. Sorry, better wait service required. Chefs food was great! Highly recommend french toast

Eclectic little cafe that serves great coffee! Situated on the road between Clive and Hastings its a good place to turn off and refuel. They also serve food, with the usually breakfast fare catered for here. I'm a creature of habit so usually choose the Eggs Benedict. Their version comes on hash browns so minus the muffin and was all round pretty good except for the balsamic glaze which was all round the plate. A chefs crutch since the 90s and not necessary with your breakkie eggs.
