l.Great coffee and breakfast stop near Havelock North. Flavourful dishes and generous portions. The pancakes with lashings of bacon 🥓 and authentic maple syrup.Great friendly service and all powered by solar PV panel .Noice
J.Great place for bigger group or a catch up. We enjoyed a brunch and I honestly couldn't choose from all the nice food that was displayed. I highly recommend almond muffin and cheese scones as kids loved them. Clean bathrooms with baby change in the accessible toilet. Gift shop on the premises and golf course just outside
K.We had a high tea today and it was fabulous! Food was absolutely delicious...real treat food. Very nicely presented and great service. We couldn't eat all the food and they were more than happy to box it so we could bring it home. There is a full menu here, bar, driving range, cheap putt putt, simulator and other games here. Very much a family destination. Highly recommended.

P.The food was fabulous as was the staff. The young lady really impressed all of us, so much so that 2 of us passed on our praises to the boss. Loved the gift shop area too, I could have gone crazy in there!
D.We have eaten here a number of times and the food is consistently excellent. Try the pork burger and the calamari salad, yummy. Their pancakes are absolutely fabulous. Delicious and reasonably priced food with warm and welcoming service makes for a great breakfast, brunch and lunch experience.

H.Visited No.5 Cafe and Larder between Hastings and Clive today and had a very enjoyable time there. The staff are absolutely lovely and totally added to the experience. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to add or alter items to our order. They even piped Happy Birthday and popped candles on the cake, which I had overlooked. That's what I call real service.
Would call in again when in the Bay.

K.Absolutely fantastic spot for a Sunday brunch. A great atmosphere with warm and welcoming staff. Have been here a couple of times and will be back again. I had the pancake stack and my hubby had the big breakfast and these were large meals so would be fantastic to share for those not wanting too much.
k.Highly recommend came here the other day for brunch. Lovely service from the time i rang up to reserve a table till the time we left. Staff are very friendly and the food was amazing. Definitely be back again...
