Nice cafe with outdoor seating. Both the food and the service were excellent. Dog friendly. Good for vegetarians. The half eggs benedict was a perfect size (one egg) and good value.

We came to this place at lunch time as it is the Village Green Cafe for lunch and changes to Calye at night. Different owners, staff and menus!! Great idea and fantastic use of space. The lunch menu is excellent and has great keto options. We had the keto smash which had one egg, bacon, a generous helping of fried haloumi and smashed avocado with the chefs special keto toast which was excellent.

I highly recommend this cafe, a popular weekend spot for cyclists, plenty of parking as well. A lovely place to relax and enjoy great vegan food. I have been to this cafe many times and there's always great vegan, paleo, special dietary options available. A great choice for meat eaters too. So pleased to see their vegan and paleo dessert/sweet cabinet has grown and I particularly loved that I had a choice of more than just one dessert option. Of the 5 slices available, I took two home and have enjoyed them. Today I had the creamy coconut mushroom with ciabatta bread, they were juicy and delicious, the coconut was not too rich, just tight! Looking forward to trying the vegan full breakfast at my next visit.

This cafe makes pretty good coffee. There is also a good selection of food, and raw and gluten free slices, one of our faves the eggs bene is very tasty. I do wish the salads had a bit more sauce on them as they are tasty but a bit dry. One of the better cafes we found in Havelock North.

I've only been at the cafe on 3 separate occasions and the staff remembered what I like to drink (2nd & 3rd visit). Room for improvement - It would have been good if they offered a loyalty card or something similar to entice me to become a regular customer.

A cafe that specializes in gluten, paleo, vegan plus. Highly recommend, you can also take out goodies in little boxes. Huge selection of foods to choose from. If you are into sweet food the cabinet is full. With a menu card and colour card depending on your preferences or if you are allergic on what you can have. The Christmas tart and coffee was 10/10. Lovely place but when I ordered the 1/2 eggs bene I had a choice of salmon bacon or spinach according to the menu. I choose spinach but was told not on the 1/2 eggs bene. I could have salmon or bacon or pay 4 for a side of spinach. Clearly this was not stated on the menu. If I had not paid I would have left. And isn’t spinach cheaper than the other two options.

Went to Cafe today as we do every weekend, An Indian lady served us, Her professionalism was second to Zero, No people skills was rude and honesty let's the whole team down that work there because each and every other Staff member are fantastic and the cafe are extremely lucky to have them..
