One of the best cafes in Hastings. Great food and coffee. The young guy in checkout and owner couple are very friendly and happy to share tips about fig trees. The fig snacks n balsamic fig vinegar are must buy - taste good n healthy. They do free shipping for over $80. Will try fresh figs in 3 months.

Honestly, the best fig and blue cheese pizza, an absolute must try! Huge selection of great luxury treats to take home, we bought the drunken figs which were delicious. Limited carpark and not that many tables so get in quick. Appreciated the very tidy toilets with funny pictures. Great new business, congratulations.

We enjoyed our savoury course, the little tomato and onion tarts very much. However the lemon and fig tarts were so strong we just couldn't eat them. My friend's eyes were literally watering. Apart from this, it was a nice lunch.

Love this GF cafe and shop. So lovely staff to communicate. Buy from the cabinet then comes with side salad and condiments lovely. I bought lots fig product souvenirs. Easy access in Hastings. Full car park on Saturday lunch time.

We didnt stay here long but only tried.their unique figs ice cream. It tastes like it has some coconut ice cream infused in it. It was actually pretty good. Nice quick stop.

My first time I didn’t realize how many items would include figs, but duh. Food is nice and unique to other places. I’m always tempted by more than one thing and enjoy the outside on a good weather day. Great place for those with allergies/dietary requirements.

Enjoyed lunch so much a month ago returned again. And will go again. Lunch delicious and very reasonably priced. Everyone was happy with their lunch. It is on a busy road and thought that maybe a problem with noise but it wasn't. Good parking as well.

A girlfriend and I recently caught up for lunch at this new cafe. We decided to share the salmon platter for 2. Great decision as there was ample to eat and the variety of food on the plate was stunning. My coffee was great and overall a super place with great wait staff and service. Sorry but there is a but. It was a busy day and the carprk was oozing with vehicles but the layout of the area needs attention. Thank you for our lovely lunch.

Very popular cafe. We enjoyed our cheese scone and fig muffin. Generous size. Good coffee. Friendly service. But at covid level two I was not happy about the lack of social distancing and the crowded table next to us. The fig products were in a small area of the cafe and it was not possible to practice social distancing there either.

Beautiful fig products made by a husband and wife who really care about their produce and are individually friendly and helpful. They get inspiration from around the globe to make delicious preserves, molasses, dried figs and fig products and vinegars. They even have fig ice cream! Recommended if you're nearby!

Worth the trip out of Napier for the fig tasting experience. The lady is very friendly and gladly assists with the fig product tasting and any other questions. I recommend the fig ice cream as well.

As a fig lover & grower of two (!) fig trees, I found the owner's knowledge fascinating. Helped me tremendously. I bought the delicious ice cream, pan de higo & some others. He attends the Napier & N Havelock markets for tasting & sales - nice guy. I am on my 10th holiday to this wonderful country, if you visit here you must drive up Te Mata peak closeby and the Sunday market.

If you love figs this place is a must do. Good coffee and food and I am still eating the dried figs I bought which unlike overseas ones don't seem to have added sugar. Also a choice of lots of different fig products for sale. I bought some orange ginger fig conserve.
