K. W.I was new to Workroom, one of a new cluster of epicurean haunts near the cinema in Havelock North village. All polished concrete floors and artfully oxidized steel on the outer, a bakery cafe with a small but select offering of treats (I went with the cheese, mushroom, spinach, bechamel toastie, definitely a happy moment), and coffee. The staff are welcoming and efficient and the coffee fortifying, if this is work I'll take it.
