We stopped in after being down in Bluff, this was the only place open and it was incredible! Very lovely staff and a stunner of a meal. We got chicken mushroom pasta and loaded wedges, best meals we’ve had down the South Island so far! They also have a little gift shop which is worth a check out too!

Loved this place. Fuel pumps here good food large area inside. I-site. Friendly staff efficient service freshly cooked breakfast. Just the ticket after 9 holes of golf at Tokonui. Hop skip and a jump to Slope Point.

Fantastic café with the best hamburger ever ! We also took away a terrific pie, sausage roll and fruit nut square - all delicious. Beautiful views. Clean. Spacious. Very good artwork for sale, by local artists. Highly recommend.

Amazing waffles with bacon, and berries and cream. Coffee good too, and lovely view.

Fresh food and friendly staff! We came by this morning for some breakfast. Me and my boyfriend shared a: Big Breakfast, and the size was perfect for two persons. Two sausages, two eggs, two bacon, two tomatoes, two delicious bread and mushrooms. Quite pricey, $20 NZD but good price if you are able to share two persons. :)

THE place to dine at Fortrose, overlooking the estuary. Whether fine or stormy, the outlook is grand. They have a 24/7 vehicle refuelling station too.
